Just for fun I asked one of the salesmen if Honda/Acura have a flagship car that competes with BMW, Mercedes Benz and Lexus. He said "They have the Acura TL which is a re-badged overpriced Accord with a slightly better interior and All Wheel Drive." Those are his words not mine!

Paul, that is exactly what I have said in the past regarding the M56, it is a great car, but NOT the full size flagship sedan {like the Q was meant to compete in} Infiniti needs to go head to head with other lux manufacturers full size flagship sedans, the M is a great mid level executive sedan meant to compete in the 5 series, A6, Gs430 class of cars, not the 7 series, A8, or LS series......how that got twisted to me saying the "m56 isnt up to my 96q" is baffling, disturbing and a flat out lie!

Hey All,
Reviving an old thread here, I've searched high and low but can't find a write up on much detail on this. Planning on doing this conversion on my 98 (just scored pair of black bezels for $300 - still need to source the ballast) and hoping someone can help or direct me the wiring schematics / process for this conversion? Also, I'm confused as to whether or not all lights will work (seems that fog lights and high beam won't operate in conjunction)? Please advise. Thanks.

In the absence of an actual write-up, I would start comparing the wiring diagrams between the two cars in their respective service manuals - available at www.infinitiservicemanual.com

Typically fogs and high beams are not wired to work at the same time.

You did revive an old Thread. Made me think about the fact that Qship may have finally moved on to that LS400. For that price seems like a doable upgrade. For while there were people dropping $1200 to Xenon upgrades which is why I originally said that it was too much.

Funny also that my Platinum Silverstars are still working great and not one issue with them.
