well i wanted to do it the guy was asking $150 for it than i asked how much for a complete system with a 2 3/4 piping all the way for $300 so i said fudge it so i put spacers on mine. There is a flange on the right side line for your exhust just unbolt them and put the 1/4" spacers between the flange and make a gap, and my car sounds great in my opinion, more or less like the old school m5 who ever that has heard my car has fallen in love with it and if u want a pair of my "spacers" i will ship them to you no cost just a little gift from a Nicoer to another lol but putting them on make sure your car doesnt fall on you. im not responsible for any of that.if you want sound clip ill provide one.

Man, that sounds horrible!! Why would you want your Q to sound like '72 Chevelle?

Because '72 Chevelles sound good?

That's how V8s are supposed to sound. If you want a car that makes no noise, go get a 4 cylinder Accord and stick 12 mufflers on it.

I've never heard a muscle car sound like that anyway. Bigger engines have a deeper growl. It inspires me to remove my suitcase, very unique sound, I like it. Kind of like a Chevelle's little brother with a touch of wine and cheese. Good deal for cheap anyways.

Here's the video with sound. The car sounds excellent with the rear muffler removed, very subtle and not all intrusive. It is difficult to hear inside the car with the windows up but sounds great with them down.

I used some flexible exhaust pipe and then straight pipe and stainless tips from Autozone, about $50 invested and took about 3 hours.
