idont know where it says that they're shutting down, but b/c they filed fo bankruptcy doesnt mean theyre shutting down...

Founded in Japan in 1977, The Trust company LTD has become a major player in automotive performance products. With popular brand names like GReddy, GREX, and GRacer, the Trust Company offers one of the widest varieties of performance automotive components. They are most well-known for their complete cat-back exhaust systems with unique straight through muffler design and bolt-on turbocharger kits.

Since 1994, the development and distribution of Trust Company products in the United States has been accomplished by GReddy Performance Products, based in Irvine, California. Trust was unable to use its own name there as it was already copyrighted, therefore they became officially known as GReddy.

In 2005, GReddy Performance Product, expanded to add an east coast facility in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

[edit] GReddyThe division that makes exhaust systems, turbo kits, cooling systems, electronics and accessory lines for Japanese and American cars.

Greddy is pronounced Gr-ed-ey, not G-Ready as many often do. The name originated from two words "GREAT" and "Eddy," as in a strong swirling wind current. Relating to the strong swirling intake air of a turbocharger, which the GReddy brand was designed for.

The GR in uppercase and the eddy in lowercase to show where the two words were combined. It also works well for the GReddy trademarked logo.

[edit] Minji-Saisei-Hou (Reorganization)According to various reports, Trust is approximately $60 million in debt and, after reporting a serious decline in sales since February 2008 and amassing $43 million in loan payments, filed for bankruptcy in Tokyo District Court on September 10, 2008.

TRUST Co., Japan and GReddy Performance Products, Inc., USA have resumed normal production, operation and sales. Both are continuing to operate in Japan and the USA.

Trusts are not sand casted the way the chinese ones are. Trust uses a mixture of fine sand and epoxy. Thats why theirs are sooo much better than the knockoffs. Chinese ones use traditional sand castings. The sand tends to fall, making holes, ect. Makes for a bad manifoldThe intake manifolds is about the only thing left trust is not getting made in china though, I am waiting for these jerk offs to get sued for putting developed and manufactored in japan on their boxes. All their cooler lines, are now 100% chinese made, they just weld the tanks on, which they souldnt, the guy making the tanks acually has some good welders. and laser engraving. everything else is made in china and shipped to japan. I know they are in negotiation with china right now to get the manifolds made properly there. so wait a little while those "knockoffs" will be the real deal real soon.

IMO If you have to ask if its a quality product dont buy it... its crap! Name brand is the only way to go. They are all cheaper for a reason. My first turbo manifold was from ssac and it was crap! You get what you pay for. why dont you take all that money from powder coating, flow matching and smoothing and buy something worth the money! Just my .02

I'm going to interrupt that as internet sarcasm since that can't be serious.

What about if you were to interpret it as sarcasm?
