Ok first day off work in a few days is tomorrow. I went and picked up my :frown: auto transmission the other day. Only $50 so it better freaking work. Gonna put that in and delete the third brake light. At least I will be able to drive her.lol

I got some news for whoever is interested. I found an SR with the transmission and ECU and the dude wants 1100 for it. It has been in storage for a couple years. He said that when he put it in storage it was because the engine just shut off one day. He said it was because either the fuel pump went out or a sensor was bad. It comes with the manifolds, the turbo, and the motor and transmission mounts. I just need to buy the wiring. Do you guys think I should go for it?

Give me some replies. :gotme

It just "shut off" one day...? Alright..so it either had a violent shut off, or a "I sat for 2 years and won't turn back on" shut off. Lets hope it wasnt the violent kind of shut off, lol :rotfl

Actually it isn't stupid..it's so people who read and skim through know what's going on.

As for the SR, if you believe it is in good shape and the guy is trustworthy, then go for it.

Driving to chicago early in the morning to pick up a VH. This is the most excited i've been about my car since I went and picked it up. Not sure about the miles or the condition, but as long as the block is good I will be fine. Anyone have any tips on pulling the VH, it would be helpful. Pick-n-Pull sucks but it is the only one I can find and I'm getting everything for around 200 bucks. Wish me luck. haha.

I was wondering if anyone was interested in purchasing my 1990 s13 hatch. It is an auto but I have most of the stuff to convert it to a 5 speed. Master and slave cylinder, the hard lines, and the drive shaft. The frame rails are in pretty good shape. I'm even willing to drive it 300 miles from st. louis. You can see the rust that is on it in the pictures above. Shoot me some offers. I need the money but be reasonable. Txt me the number is in the side bar.

Well, we got up there and had a flat. So I had to pay 50 for a used tire at a shop. And we had to walk the mile to the shop and a mile back. Then I looked at the motor and it had 223,000 miles and I know they are good motors but damn.

well the passion isnt cheap, a complete motor set for $200, and you thought something wasnt going to be wrong...

and if you gave up that fast, i doubt the swap effort would have gone any different if you had bought it, a vh swap isnt easy and for beginners
