Umm no it hasn't. He hasn't pursued any terrorists other then Osama. He has left England intact. Do you even know of anything happening in the world? Have you heard of "The Troubles" that plaque Northern Ireland? Where Irish Republicans are held in Long Kesh prison(aka University of Freedom) just becuase they have differetn political beliefs. Or how the English go around terrorizing catholics in South Armagh. Until he addresses terrorlst issues outside the middle east, he is not handling the terrorists. He is only going farther with his 'crusade'.

i never said the previous president was responsible for the current economy, clinton was a good president and he handled the economy pretty damn good, for a democrat. the terrorists are the ones responsible. And bush has done things for medicaire, a year or two ago, he approved a prescription drug plan for the elderly to get free drugs if they can't afford them

you are absolutily correct terrorism has no country, but the leaders of certain countries are terrorlst themselves and must be stopped

Saddam had nothing to do with terrorlst! Hell, they never helped each other with anything. Saddam didn't give weapons to osama (the united states did)

Because Kerry is not evil

So, your basically saying that the money spent on iraq was the best place for the money to be spent?

I say we should of used it to improve schools, help the homeless, and overall improve the living coniditons of the united states

ehh ill chime in w/o looking ........

The Bush team ran in 2000 on the idea that CEOs could better run the country, they told us the CEOs would be more efficient -and they always are, at robbing and fooling people.

Flip flopping is good, especially in these times. heres a piece of advice bush supporters can take to the bank:

People who don’t change their views aren’t smart people

its fine to change your views just not changing them everyday

john kerry wouldn't know what to do in the event of war, i trust bush's judgement to get the job done

Another political thread.

Liberals think Kerry is a good guy and conservatives think Bush is a good guy.

WOW THATS FREAKING AMAZING! I havent heard this one before! Oh, such an interesting and new topic to debate!

Lets get on with our lives now. If you're still stuck on politics, head over to http://www.ircpolitics.org -- I moderate there and hurt people's feelings. :D

I dont think anyone should feel obligated to vote if they dont like any of the candidates. Lets see how far down the voting percentage will go before the people in the parties wake up and realize "hey somethings gotta change because no ones voting for us"

(young) people shouldn't be encouraged to vote (not discouraged), especially those without any accompanying message about learning enough before hand to make that an informed vote, like me

Haha... no offense... but after perusing some of the subject matter in the two active discussions... no thanks. That is hardly a place for open-minded, intellectually stimulating conversation. We could throw around baseless hypotheses all day and it would change nobody's opinions.

The problem with a site like that... is that it is only going to attract diametrically opposed "extremists" with no intention of learning, listening, or adopting any opinion contrary to their own. When you get extremely conflicting points of view without the input of the "middle ground"... it becomes a pointless shouting match with no possibility of a reasonable conclusion.

I'd love to contribute as someone with a "middle-of-the-road" point of view... the problem is I tend to become less neutral and lean more towards the side lacking adequate representation. In this case I'd be feverishly defending I<3Drifting's argument!

If you havent registered to vote yet, I strongly discourage you from doing so.

Why? It shows you dont care enough to put yourself on the list of voters, which also shows that you dont care enough to follow the issues and candidates in an attentive way that would make your decision moderately informed.
