Thanks alot man, its really not that bad at all though. I removed everything that needs to be replaced today (I think) and I have all the parts that need to be replaced already besides the lower control arm (I think thats what its called). I'm just waiting to find someone with that part and then put everything in.

Also, there have been NO snapped bolts so far, thank god.

I may need some help on removing the broken axle out of the hub though, she doesn't want to budge. Anyone have any tips?

Good luck with the rust man. Buy a lot of wire wheels and the paint that turns rust into primer.

looks like the previous owner went a little drift crazy and slid into a curb at @ 100. all of that rust is definately not good, but to get your ish straight, looks like you'll just need the lca.

Did a little more work today, still just removing things that I missed and fixing/cleaning things. Got a little problem though, the car has a factory alarm (I'm guessing its factory because its an SE model and has a Nissan alarm remote.) well, whenever I press the lock button it locks then unlocks... Does anyone have any personal experience with these? I'm probably just going to rip it out because I have other security features but I'm curious if this has happened with anyone else.

I no longer need the LCA too, thanks to White Comet. BTW, I'm going to the post office today before school so you will have payment within a few days.

Just for s***s and giggles too:ANDMy friends 2nd gen RX-7. He just put it on the road after having it sit in the garage for 4 years. I love it and I thought that I would share.

Soooo... Any advice on the alarm problem? Does anyone know where the factory alarm is located? I think its making the power locks f*** up and its also making it hard to start the car. I go to start it sometimes and the locks just go crazy when i turn the key.

I'm not a fan of them either but he seems to like them, he bought the car with them too about 4 years ago. I think its an S4, not sure though. It was originally the T2 engine but funds ran low so its just the stock NA now out of another RX-7 he used to have, im pretty sure it just has exhaust. Have any pictures of your fc? And help with the alarm?

Well everything has been replaced for a few days now, I've been driving it everyday and its horrible. I've replaced everything that was bent besides the strut which is barely bent, I'm really not sure what else to do because there is only few things it can be, working on the side of my house with my lack of tools is becoming a problem as well. Some recent pics of it now:

Didn't feel like taking the wheel off for a good picture but you get the idea.

And this is how it now sits. The primer is just there to cover bare metal, it had some nice rust that i had to grind out, don't worry my body work isn't that bad...

Well, I came across a pretty nice deal. I found a rolling shell with everything in it besides the engine, trans is still there also. Its a 92 so it has the KA24DE trans which will bolt right up to the KA24E, correct? Anyways, if all goes well I should have this shell by monday and I will update with pictures. The shell would also be my 4th 240sx and I will be parting out this coupe after I deside what I need and what I don't need. If anyone needs anything let me know, thanks.

glad i could help . to answer your question, yes the trans are interchangable and as far as the way the car feels, did you get an alignment after replacing all those suspension arms?

as far as the shell goes, sounds nice. the shell i have now is also my 4th s13

No I haven't gotten an alignment yet but the way the car feels is far beyond and alignment. Its actually quite saddening to be honest, I really wanted to finish this thing but it doesn't look like its going to happen. Anyways, yeah I think the subframe may actually be f***ed. As crazy as it sounds... for example the mounting points for the LCA is bent and torn, when metal is torn that gives me a bad sign. I'm not sure what to do but any advice is helful.

There ya go. I would rather not ditch it for a shell but due to my lack of tools and space/shelter I think I'm going to have to do it.
