I don't want to start taking jabs at the left, saying you avoid issues at hand, but I'm guessing you have no response to what I said?

ok lets try this slowly...to clarify, you now hate a political candidate and ALL of his supporters because of the opinion of ONE person on the INTERNET? So lets apply your logic to other situations...

We should arrest all muslims because of Osama Bin LadenWe should arrest all christians because of the Olympic park bombing (eric Rduolph I think)We should just flat out execute everyone because of Charlie Manson (hes a human just like you and me)

Support or don't support a candidate based on their views, not based on their supporters. I get called an Obama koolaider here all the time despite being in utter disagreement with him on some things. I am voting for the man because we need to put intelligent intellectuals back into government. This 8 year social experiment of having a buffoon/baboon run the place has permanently taken the right away from the republicans of having any reasonable voice in the public discourse.

Probably. I don't have a problem with your beliefs, more the way you insist your position is absolute.
Eh, that just comes from where I learned to debate. One should always assert that oneself is correct, as to assert otherwise is to invite additional counterattacks.

Ultimately, I'm well aware that everyone's position is unique and a product of their own situation in life and thus no one has any objectively "better" position than anyone else.......but that kind of thinking doesn't tend to win as many arguments, lol.

After all, this is the politics forum, and so I take the gloves off and have fun in here.

What is it you want to discuss, whether or not vigilante justice is appropriate. It isn't. Your example is as much a murder as the original crime. I have a lot more confidence in a jury to get the facts straight than a vigilante.

Our legal system may have it's flaws, but it's by far the best one in the world.

So what is it exactly you are disagreeing with?

I utterly welcome a comparison between Bush and Clinton...Impeached for lying about a blow job or not impeached for lying about a war that troops are dieing in.

Your viewpoint. Without being rude or insulting, it's well, odd.

As far as the hypothetical murder scenario, put yourself in the shoes of the father with the dead child. Think really hard, if that had happened to your daughter, and you caught the scumbag in the act/right after the murder.

What would you have done.

I don't know. But I like to think that I have enough self control to obey the law under any condition. I think I'd feel much better about myself when the jury convicted and the judge sentenced the defendant that if I resorted to his level of behavior.

It may be "weird" but it is what the law requires. In fact, I don't know a jurisdiction that allows vigilante justice by a relative, at least, not in the United States.
