Wow! I've been away for a year and you guy's let this place go to $hit! J/K I'm worn out just reading that post!
I'M BACK!!!!
OP,
Welcome to Nicoclub and America!
During your visit to Nicoclub, we hope you experience many encounters with a wide variety of well spoken enthusiasts that share your Infiniti ownership experience.
During your visit to America however, you may at times experience turbulence...this is what is known as
life...The reality is that your encounter with your local dealership would have been much more desirable had you been an informed consumer. If the "aero package" was such a significant factor in your decision to purchase, then it is encumbent upon you (the consumer) to evaluate the actual vehichle you have purchased and express these concerns at time of delivery (I'm certain you signed a release waiver when you took posession of the vehichle... didn't you?). I'm in no way condoning the act of mis-represenation (it happens all the time) but you (the consumer) are ultimately responsible. What may be important to you, may not be as important to all. It would be in your best interest to effectively communicate any concerns at the time of delivery to your sales representative.
Life Lesson)- Believe only half of what you see and none of what you hear.
The bottom line is that you have a wonderful car (with free added options). If the worst thing that happens to you during your entire ownership experience is that you were unable to add an "aero kit" to your car so that you can stand out & bag more tail on the Jersey shore, then I'd say you're doing okay! At first glance, it appears that you have a textbook case of "buyers remorse" (also happens all the time) deal with it.
Life Lesson #2) Happiness is achieved when you truly want what you already have rather than have what you want today.
I'm confident that you'll find an "aero kit" on Nicoclub that will meet your needs... it may not be from Infiniti, and it may require a little bit of research but it will certainly be a great modification! In the meantime, don't sweat the small stuff; don't believe everything you hear; Enjoy life and get the most tail you can bag while your still young!
Life Lesson #3) Life is a journey, not a destination... Enjoy the ride!
Drive Safely,
