I used to play a while ago but I've stopped and I'm just waiting for wotlk to come out. I'll most likely play to 80 with some of my friends and then sell my account. To be honest I liked leveling a little more then just grinding instances at 70.

s2 glad is pretty good, I was deep into the arena scene, but didnt start untill the end of s2. s2 was the last legit season anyway so grats on making rank dude. The whole game is off its axis atm because of 80 talents and a 70 lvl cap, justl ike before TBC after the talent update.

Rogues got nerfed into the ground though, once them damage balances out from mutilate (its OP as hell right now) at 80, there will be almost no viable pvp specs the way it stands now. They need to rethink a few of the public/silent nerfs they are throwing out.

Time to level my mage! rofl

I picked up WOTLK but haven't played it much. My computer is out of commission at the moment. I borrowed a friend's spare laptop and made a Death Knight. I played through all the Death Knight quests. They're all EXCELLENT and very different from any other quests from WoW classic or BC. The fact that it was all very lore-driven and not just "do this because I said so" made it so much more compelling. The big downside is now that my Death Knight is finished with those quests, I have the same old droll grind through Outland (which I'm extremely very really incredibly bored with) before I get to use him in Northrend (which is a lot of fun as it's much like the DK quests in that it's not the same old same old we've been doing for 4 years).

There are a lot of cool new concepts introduced to quests in WOTLK, like quest-based combat mounts which get their own action bars and temporary abilities (kind of like the chess event at Kara, except that there's new action bar art for combat/special mounts).

As for the Death Knight, I LOVE the class. Part of the reason I like it so much is that it's the class I originaly wanted to play when I first bought the game in 2004. FINALLY we have a necromancer class. Finally someone who can raise undead and wield truly dark magic ( stupid warlocks). Another cool touch (although an expected one) is the Death Knight spells returning from WCII and WCIII, like Death Coil and Death and Decay.

As soon as my computer's back, I expect to enjoy the crap out of myself on the trip to 80. Just watching my friend doing the interesting new Quests has been fun enough already.

Kalwa/hunter - StormrageKalwa/warrior - EonarSuadela/pally - Eonar

My 70 is on Stormrage, but I haven't played in Northrend yet as I've been working on my warrior and pally on Eonar. The warrior is 2.5 lvls from 70, so I'll be seeing Northrend pretty soon.

My roommate plays on Eonar. He's a Nightelf druid, not sure he's level but he's past 70.

I had/have a 70 Shammy on Spirestone.

I hated leveling so I was looking forward to getting to 70 and just doing PVP. Then I got to 70 and realized how much more time you had to put in getting good enough gear.

I've been thinking about getting Wrath and trying it out. Maybe making a DK but then I remember I gotta level through ****in BC again. Gah, that's so boring.

That's EXACTLY what I say. While I was doing the early DK quests, it was a "yeah, awesome, what's next?!" experience. Then I hit 58 and left the Eastern Plaguelands for Outland and realized...UGH!...I have to grind through that crap AGAIN.

I really hope Blizzard spends the next few patches re-tuning outland to be more enjoyable, because right now it's like this big blotch of boring amidst a lot of fun.

Still, the Death Knight is worth making even if only for the death-knight-only quests. Very cool stuff and some of the most fun quests in the whole game.

And WOTLK is worth buying even if all you do is Northrend stuff. It's NOTHING like Outland and a lot of fun. Tons of variety and, like the DK stuff, lots of "I want to continue to because I'm having a LOT of fun" stuff as opposed to the "ah, man, MORE grind before I ding" feel of Outland.

Hmmmm sounds pretty interesting.

Next they need to figure out some way to get the older season gear. The amount of honor you need is INSANE. It got to the point that I began to HATE Alterac Valley because of constantly doing it.

I'm loving the new stats combos for physical DPS classes (My main's a Hunter). Stam/AP/Agi stuff is NICE. I can't express how nice it feels to actually have some freaking health. With just basic quest rewards (and one level) I've gone from 6400 health (70 greens and blues with a couple epics) to 8500, while still maintaining solid AP. AGI has dropped a bit but with the armor stats and straight AP bonuses that doesn't really matter all that much anymore. Mana has dropped a bit, too, but hunters got a lot more efficient with 3.0 so that's not a huge deal, either. Even with less mana I run out of mana less often now.

Also, I freaking LOVE Chimaera Shot!

Yeah, I wonder if they're trying to even out the damage curve with the higher AP and lower crit. More consistent. Although 24% crit is pretty freaking consistent...

Hory clap. Momentary dislexia...I didn't realize it said 42 and not 24.

So...like I said...pretty consistent.

I haven't played the game in months, but lately I've had a slight urge to pick up my mage again. I don't really feel like paying for game time right now, though.

I quit playing on Blizz servers a while ago, I usually just setup a private server for LAN play, as I don't really have the time to spend grinding levels.

I think huntards are overpowered ridiculously too. Can i get a nerf on them in PVP as well for their enrage crap? Can't be stunned or slowed, pretty much immune to everything (nor the pet) for about 15 secs.

That's more than enough time for the hunter to kill whoever is on them.

ok, i give up, ill post my s***

http://www.wowarmory.com/chara...derik

http://www.wow-heroes.com/inde...derik

no really... i beat the game in december (no new gear since then, due to work and video card taking a s***.. havnt raided since december)

guild had server first on 25 man OS (not that thats saying a whole lot on failenholdt.. at least we arent ranked 257 for progression like in BC )

no, hailstorm hasnt dropped for me

yes, i realize a webbed death is better then the hand of nub, i was stuck in fists/daggers being separate mode still until just recently

no, mutilate isnt higher dps (on murderable targets it is, but the difference is meh. pay attention more and youll increase your DPS more than the difference between combat and mut on murderable/non-murderable targets) and mutilate has to pay attention to HfB in addition to other stuff, its a pain enough as it is to call out s*** during boss fights for retards to move out of the fire

also have a 75 lolkin, 74 lock and 70 priest ..

healed with the priest for most of BC, but cant stay away from the rogue for long, just love the mechanic. ended up switching back to him during hyjal, just before we got to BT ... never did get glaives tho (will get them at some point regardless)

then facerolled the lolkin in t4 content (mostly to help people out if i was locked out of a raid on other toons already)

this s*** is why im just now (after 2+? years) starting to work on my cars again

f*** warcraft

edit> pay no attention to the scrub arena rating, havnt had time to farm points yet or anything. if I have time between work and cars etc when i get a new video card i might go for points (seriously no wrath PVP gear yet except a few crafted pieces that i dont even use. i use my raid gear +glad (yes, season 1) throwing axe and PVP trinket.

Im fine with rogues in PVP now, not much has changed since BC, except more specs being viable for more people. (like in BC my BG shadowstep was the default pvp spec.. only a rareity was mut and without a reference, i want to say noone over 1800 was combat.. but i might be wrong

i leveled my lock (in BC) after the xp buff at the very end of BC. went to HP at 58, finished Hellfire penninsula, and not even finished zangarmarsh and was 68 already (with a few instances)

if you keep in your rested xp zone, know the quests (or just use questhelper or another mod like it) and grab all the quests in a zone, just knock htem all out, s*** will go really fast

note: i did have the BOA badge weapon and shoulders (shoulders give +10% xp on mobs) .. you can enchant them with prebc enchants (like 30 spellpower, and ZG/zandalar tribe shoulder enchants

with the +30SP, the BOA staff (headmasters charge, the dps one) was better than any quest/instance drop in BC. i messed up and got the healing shoulders instead of DPS ones... ill admit it.. because they look alot meaner (have spirit instead of crit) .. but the +10% xp makes up for it

I was a Warcraft 2 and 3 junkie, so naturally when WoW released I got it. Played for a year, quite casually (took nearly that whole year to get main up to 60), and then lost interest and quit. I've been clean ever since, lol.

Seriously, I thought Blizzard was awesome before WoW. I had fun playing it, but soon realized how little effort they put into improving gameplay. I swear, they must have fired all their designers and programmers, and kept just a few artists around to change some colors. Come on, 8 million players (back then. holy crap it's 11.5 now) giving $15 a month, and the best they could do was build an occasional instance using recycled textures? Sorry for the rant, but yeah I honestly lost respect for them as a company.
