Yes, the car wash paid me directly. I was surprised by that, since there is still a lein on the car. I figured it would at least have my lienholder on there. Anyway, the only thing I can figure is since this wasn't a traffic accident, and instead of dealing with someone's auto insurance, it was instead business liability coverage, maybe they're allowed to work things differently. I don't know.

Regarding the car, I might be perfectly fine with it. Actually, now that I said that, I'm realizing that I really am on the fence regarding the whole thing. The thought of trading up to a pre-owned G37x from my G35x is definitely intriguing, but I'd have to drive around in a screwed up car for a while, since I've searched EVERYWHERE, and can't find one with low miles, unless I want to drive 900 miles to get it. Actually, I might be willing to do that, but I'd be majorly pissed if I drove that far and the car was gone, or I couldn't reach a deal on the trade.

The easy thing obviously would be to just get it painted and be done with it, but I'm having a surprisingly hard time with it.
