A couple of burns and cuts on my pretty arms, but nothing crazy. There is one time I will never forget though.
I was working on my car, changing the sway bar end links and bushings. I just did the fronts and was already frustrated because one of the D-brackets was so bent that a 10min job literally took 90mins. I finally finished and started working on the rear. Jacked the car up, put another jack under the lower control arm, and swapped end links. I started to jack the lower control arm up again to slip the end link in, unfortunately, since I was dumped on coilovers, the coilovers were bottomed out and wouldn't let me jack the lower control arm up anymore. Instead of undoing the coilover at the knuckle and jacking the lca freely, I just kept jacking. Anyways, both jacks ended up tipping over and the car came falling down. Half of my body was under the car and when I saw it falling, It was like slow motion. I stuck my hands out thinking I would inherent super human strength and stop the car from crushing my body. Obviously I didn't. But because of how low I was and the ridiculously low center of gravity, the car balanced itself like on 3 wheels not crushing my body. I'm pretty positive coilovers saved my life. I know for a fact if I were on any other suspension or stock for a matter, the entire weight of the car would have fallen on that corner and taken out my legs paralyzing or killing me. Worst part, no one was home. So I could have been stuck under the car for hours before anyone noticed me. Lesson learned.
1. Don't work on your car mad. You'll either hurt your self or break more things on your car.
2. Safety Stands. Really. For your own safety.
3. Work with a friend, or have someone check up on you every couple of mins.
