Yeah the guy moved me up about 2 or 3 feet fron where I originally stopped I got within millimeters of the car in front of me.The car only vibrates under acceleration and when I brake the back of the car slightly moans and vibrates but it sounds to just be the rattling of exhaust. I took it to the shop and they said all that was wrong with it at first sight was the bumper and nothing was wrong with the exhaust. I'm guessing that the vibration might be from the rubbing of the exhaust and the crash bar but I can't explain the noise when I brake. They said they will check the car in further detail when they take off the bumper. The initial estimate they gave me was only 890 bucks.

Be careful with the "insurance approved" shops. They supposedly guarantee repairs, but I also find that they will overlook stuff to save money.

VERY true!!

My 05 was in a fender bender... the rebar was bent... the insurance recommended a shop. They ended up chargeing the insurance company a hefty amount of $$$ to replace it and then never even replaced it.

yeah i was thinking about it now and i was liike the crash was almost a direct hit to the exhaust and its kind of at an angle now so how the hell could they have said there was nothing wrong?!?!? im going back either tomorrow or thursday and ill keep you guys informed. until now the estimate is 950 with all labor.. lets see how much that goes up when they put the car on a lift lol
