Good God Almighty.

I'm with SmithSR on this one - NO TASTE.

I've got a new favorite sport for cars like that - Laughing hysterically and pointing at any such POS I see on the road.

What an immense waste of time and money. The great part is, it's insured as a CRX. Which means if someone hits it (or puts it out of its misery with a Louisville Slugger), the dumb sap will get a check for less than $2K and the car will belong to the insurance company.

By the way, I saw the winner of W.W.R. yesterday at Best Buy.

My two sons (11 and 6) got out of the car before me and were laughing, pointing at a car parked near us.

It was a burgundy early 90's Civic 4-door sedan. Cut springs, sitting on the ground, rolling on 14" rims with chrome PepBoys "Niche-style" hubcaps over painted steelies. Everything that could be easily popped off the car was spray painted yellow. Mirrors, brake drums, bumper trim, window pillars, etc.

FOUR (yes, four) self-adhesive "scoops" on the hood (all painted yellow as well)... Two rectangular PepBoys driving lights mounted "rally style" on the front edge of the hood - facing the ground two feet in front of the bumper.

HUGE Type-R sticker on the rear window (yellow "R"), a 5" exhaust tip (on a 2" pipe), and a wing from some other car (didn't fit at all). The wing had two 10" bolts drilled RIGHT THROUGH IT into the trunklid, and it was raised up off the trunk with a HUGE stack of washers... LMAO.

Instead of a body kit, this guy had put 4" Home Depot self-adhesive FLEXIBLE PLASTIC BASEBOARD around the entire lower body. The kind used in a commercial restroom...

To top it all off, his license plate frame says: "Street racing is NOT a crime."

The boys BEGGED me to wait in the parking lot so they could make fun of the driver when he returned.... :rolleyes

Well the truth is a lot of people do retarded stuff to Civics more than any other car. I love a nice Civic, but I also love ripping on the ugly ones.

Yep - They've got Rice Radar.

Fortunately, I won't ever have to worry about them buying "performance" parts at the local PepBoys.

One wants a 66 Suburban (dropped to the ground) and the other digs the older Sentra's and 510's.

everyone who aspires to build something like that, needs to be lined up and shot.

not a serious threat, a joke. (sad you have to put disclaimers on jokes nowadays.)

hmm well ifu think thats rice then i also have 2 friends who drive old school toyota corollas. one of them swapped his motor with a 97 toyota corolla motor. he put intake and exhaust on it. has 3 speakers in the back popping up. has audiobahn and some import shop stickers on his rear windows. has a big apc sticker on his winshield. has 14 inch rims in the back which he spraypainted red and two hubcaps in front spraypainted red. his car is red with black bumpers. he lowered it by cutting his springs. and now hes selling the car for 1800$.

the other guy has intake exhaust and headers on an oldschool corolla. he has chrome 16 inch rims. light blue car with black bumpers. dents an rust all over. tachometer. good sound system though. aluminium wing which was stolen so his trunk has 4 holes. o yea and its dropped only in the back.

Swwwwweeeeet!! Those Mercedes headlights with regular non-HID bulbs in there give it an extra touch of class. Also, the BMW grills allow for extra air to flow directly into it's single core race radiator. I bet he drives 25 mph on the interstate for fear of peeling body panels at high speeds. The speed holes on the side of the car add a drag coefficient in case the car is ever stolen, it wouldn't get away very fast. Fuzzy dices hanging on the rear view mirror and the Honda emblem, simply classic! The GReddy windshield sticker and dual hood scoops scream out, "I'm a serious racer, watch out!" As for the dual 5Zigen style fireball exhaust, they're not really attached to the car. It's just for looks, if they were, they heat emitted from the exhaust could melt my bling bling OEM Supra tail lights. Yep that's right, OEM Supra tail-lights, not that cheap APC stuff, NOOO, he's too good for it.
