yeah deff need pics of it. im still trying to figure what to do about it myself. the only real space for 2 12's is in the 2 corners, but not sure if it will sound that good sitting so far away and RIGHT under the trunk lid.

I was thinking about doing the same, but honestly I don't need that much bass...and it would rattle too much. It would also cost a lot more than the sub box if I had someone else make it. Just get the right 10" sub and it will work great! zenclosures makes a box for 2 10" or 1 10"

Enjoy!

Do you think that there is room there to make the hole big enough for a 12 ???

Is the whole box carpeted or just the area you can see?

Also, you said that you didnt have it pushed all the back way... is that becasue you have your amp mounted behind it either on the back or on the seat?

How does it sound? (assuming you have it hooked up)

Nice Costco sized Crystal Light package in the trunk!

That enclosure looks really good! I am curious as to how it sounds as well. I have been looking for a sub that isn't too overpowering.

Viper5000:

Like about 80% of the box is carpeted. I have to check, but I think the only part that isnt is the bottom of the sub. And yes, I didnt push the box all the way back because I have my amp Velcro'd on the back. There is room for a smaller amp to fit on the side, but mine is fairly large. Overall, the sub hits really well. I am VERY satisfied.

JAFO:

If you dont want something overpowering, just go with the (1) 10" sub box...I didnt want something that overpowering myself, so this worked out perfectly. Oh, and CRYSTAL LIGHT ROCKS! hahaha

my bose system could definitely use more bass...but I think that is just a little excessive.

if only i had that much money man. I still haven't maxed this T1. I'm powering it with a 2200 watt directed amp. i wish i could get a T2. and some custom box work. i almost bought two 10" T1's for the old custom zenclosures box i had but it wouldnt be enough air space and the guy at the audio place i went to said it would actually break the box. but if i had the money id definitely get a T2

On the sub box here i heard there were small spaces on the sides of the box to mount an amp. How much space for an amp is really on the sides of the box so i don't have to pull out the box and mount the amp to the back of the seats.

The space ont he side is fairly small...esp for a high powered amp. Unless you can find a good one thats the size of like 3 DVD cases (max), you would either have to go with a weaker amp or mount it to the back of the case how i did.

If you have a specific amp in mind, give me a the dimensions and ill measure it for you

If I am not mistaken, you can call or email the company to have them build the box with 1 10" hole off-center to one side. That way you would have space to mount a larger amp next to the sub on the face of the box.

I am looking for pics. someone posted them a while ago.

Found the pics.

Ironically, they were in a thread that I made almost a year ago that I don't even remember making.

Look about halfway down the thread.

If I were to get this enclosure, that is how I would do it. It saves space, and allows for the box to sit all the way back.
