Exactly what I was saying! Or maybe to save more spaceyou can cut the box in halfand mount the amp on theside of it? not much more but its something! Just dont know if i want a systemor exhaust first

Under choose your options. The drop box where it says sub woofer size. Are you asking if you can keep the stock headunit?

Thanks for the point in the right direction...I didn't see the multiple options.

And I am not the most elctrical inclined person but I've had subs in other vehicles that required a non factory headunit and an amp to power the sub obviously. What all would I need to do to power the one 10" sub? If I have to purchase an amp would it be best to get the box with the sub cut out on one side and mount the amp on the other side of the box?

I don't have a head unit for my subs. You do have to buy an additional part though. I forget what it is. It cost me like 20 bucks at my local place. You need an amp that goes well with the sub, the sub itself, the wiring kit, and the piece i talked about before. Phenom has the side set up I think. It looks real clean. Seems like a good idea.

But I still need to run wires to the back of the stereo? or put new sub in place of the factory one with bose system?

Has anyone used subthump.com before? Looks like same box of zenenclosure.com but $14 cheaper

Our car doesn't come with a factory sub woofer. just two 6x9's in the rear deck. The subthump picture is the same exact picture that zenclosures has on their website. Seems legit but I'd probably just buy it from the source and pay the extra 14 bucks.

When you buy an amp and a sub dont you ahve to wire or plug something in to the existing H/U? Would the one in my car (bose package) support adding an amp and sub? Is it basically plug and play?

And I agree. $14 for peace of mind..

yes. That's why you need that extra piece i was talking about before because the factory head unit doesn't have that. I just know general things. There are a lot of guys on here that know a lot more than me. If i were you i'd just go to a stereo place and get it installed professionally. Thats what i did.

How much did that run you? Did you just buy the box/sub/amp and then take it somewhere?

That's what I did for my first subs. They will hook you up with the part i was talking about and the wiring kit. If you don't really know what you're doing then I would take it to a professional.

aight im good now. So it sounds like you have the premium package but for some reason you dont have foglights. I know you can get them off ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-201 ... 175wt_1165
It looks like those definitely fit the 2010. Not sure about the 08/09 though.

Sorry got off work the other night and just now getting back to a computer...The foglights are something I def. want to add eventually. I went to an audio place here in towna nd they charge $60 an hour for installs and said it'd take about 1.5hrs to install my stuff....
