Yes! I have one in my 1995 Q, and it really warms it up a lot.

It was in my 1995 Q car when I got it in 1998 (used, from the dealer). It looks like the ones sold at the dealership - I think the original owner bought it with the car.

They are a very popular option.Wood dashes are slowly getting out of fashion but most still like them.

I kinda like the wood trim in my 94..

Oops, I should have been more accurate. Mine is not on the dash (around the gauges). Just around the shift lever, the ashtray, door buttons, etc.

Much more subtle and it looks very nice.

Fred, do you have the full wood trim kit (not just the area around the shifter?)

I did, on an earlier Q (92), but this one is stock , which for the 94's includes wood trim.

This looks way overdone for me, unfortunately. I like the simpler looks on mine.

I don't have a digital camera here unfortunately. Will see if I can borrow the one from work, but that may take a few days - I am on vacation for a week! :)

What makes your kit different from the one that I posted?

On my kit, there is nothing on the dash at all. The ash tray has wood, the shifter is surrounded by wood (but not to the entire center section - just the semi-oval shape) and there is a wood panel surrounding the door handle (all four doors) including seat buttons on the front doors (this tends to avoid getting the door leather dirty). Basically, a lot less wood. My car is a silver Q with a tan interior and the particular wood in it goes well with the tan leather.

I gues my reaction to the one at eBay was "too much wood on the dash". But this is a completely personal thing. My boss has an Ivory 1993 Q45a with a full Maple wood kit (sorta like the one you posted about) and it does look decent. FWIW, I would not strongly object to a full wood kit that was already present in a car that I was buying ... I guess I just would not add it later. What I like about the one in mine is that it is subtle and just enough wood to offset the austerity of plain leather without overpowering.

Another correction: "tan" is the wrong word for my leather color. It is like a very light brown with a tinge of olive green. I do not know the official color name from Infiniti.

The area around the shifter/ashtray/door handles comes standard on 94Qs!!! I was referring to getting a FULL wood trim kit!

Oh, okay! My 91Q did not have it, so I assumed it was added to the 95Q I now have. I stand corrected.

Well, I would not buy it myself for my car, I suppose, because it overpowers the front of the interior, IMO. But, they are not bad looking per se.

Look around at some of the salvage shops, I picked a full kit up for $70 out of a blown engine car. I looked a long time at the ones on ebay, read the feedback very closely, there were a LOT of complaints regarding the fit not being right and the sellors did not seem to correct the situations. I never found one with feedback I trusted, therbey causing me to look at salvage cars.

Or I could buy one from Jason B.....

I dont remember what his website it, but i have it around here somewhere......

The question.... more/less, was to see if I should get the full wood trim, and wether or not it looks to "blingy" or overdone...

You have to be careful with kits on ebay. You don't always know what you are getting.

I will say that "WOOD" will never go out of style. Right now there is a big aluminum kick, but I don't see it lasting for long.

The NEW FX45 comes with all aluminum, but looks a bit spartan. A lot of people that have bought the new FX have seen my trim kit for it and have added it.

If anyone is intersted in one for their Q, feel free to send me an email and I will give more info.
