On my kit, there is nothing on the dash at all. The ash tray has wood, the shifter is surrounded by wood (but not to the entire center section - just the semi-oval shape) and there is a wood panel surrounding the door handle (all four doors) including seat buttons on the front doors (this tends to avoid getting the door leather dirty). Basically, a lot less wood. My car is a silver Q with a tan interior and the particular wood in it goes well with the tan leather.
I gues my reaction to the one at eBay was "too much wood on the dash". But this is a completely personal thing. My boss has an Ivory 1993 Q45a with a full Maple wood kit (sorta like the one you posted about) and it does look decent. FWIW, I would not strongly object to a full wood kit that was already present in a car that I was buying ... I guess I just would not add it later. What I like about the one in mine is that it is subtle and just enough wood to offset the austerity of plain leather without overpowering.
