I think it makes a lot of difference which year it is AND the interior color. The later Gen 1 Q's with all one color interior and minimal wood accents look very classy and I would not mess with them. I think 94 is the year they went to all one color interiors and those look fine also with no dash wood. And I think the 90-93 cars look great with no wood if they are the grey/black interior. The problem comes with the tan interior, you guys who have this know what I'm talking about, you've got beautiful light saddle on the seats and rugs and upper door panel, then VERY dark brown on the dash and lower door panel and pillars between the doors and light saddle headliner, now, Jesda listen up, you've never seen your dash cause it came with a full wood kit, like my 92...look at your steering wheel...that's the color of the standard dash...let's see light saddle + very dark brown + a few black accents here and there and then a HUGE swoop of GREY around and down on to the console...UGH. It was way too much for me and they sold me my car when new by taking me over to one on the showroom floor with a full wood kit, dark green with tan interior and the platinum (not gold) BBS wheels, I bought it on the spot. I hope not to offend anyone with this it's just all personal taste anyway, I just did not want Jesda to give away his wood without knowing what would replace it. By the way, if anyone really wants standard dash panels, I bet there's a ton of them tucked away at a lot of dealers as takeoffs from the early 90's. The big deal back then was to put the wood in and the BBS wheels and put it on the floor, at my selling dealer they ALL had wood and BBS and of course the corresponding extra dealer profit, but it was smart because guys at that time were shopping Lexus and Infiniti and the piepan wheels and the grey dash were the biggest complaints. Lexus had some very nice wood. By the way I did not know Jason was selling wood kits and after hanging out at the other web site I would strongly endorse anyone in the market for wood to go with his.
