Hey All,

This year Wiring Specialties has launched the pre-made harness sets for the S13, S14 and RB series engines into 240sx. The harnesses have been a great help to all who needed to replace shoddy work and old wiring for their swaps. During that time, we received a lot of interest for CA18 harnesses and decided to start production of the S13 CA18DET harness into S13 chassis.

We need a donor harness. It has been almost impossible to find a CA18DET harness to use for mock-up and engineering design.
As always, as a reward for providing the donor harness to us, a brand new, pre-made harness will be provided free of charge as soon as the first batch is ready.

If anyone is willing to help, a new harness awaits free of charge.
Please email [email protected]

Here is the link to the pre-made harnesses we produce now.

Thanks guys and let me know any ideas.

I'm sure everyone knows, but these guys are legit. They've been around a LONG time and they do GREAT work. I've had 3 friends use their harness's and they were all happy with them. If I were to ever go back to a stock setup again, I would, without a doubt, use their harness.

Soooooo is this still in the process or done yet????? If not I have a harness that needs work. (well actually just 1 wire)
If you need another one. If not when are these going to be done because I WANT ONE lol! I mean are we talking about a brand new main harness? I've seen the one for the transmission. I tried wiring a harness before, it didn't work :gotme
Then I got one from Dee (which was in excellente' condition) But if I had the chance to buy a brand new one I'd do it!!!
I'd eventually like to get to the point where the car is totally restored(but in jdm fashion og silvia style) And having alllll brand new parts wiring harnesses hoses pullys belts bearings, suspension drive shaft internals turbo coils etc you get the point would be awesome.

Superman is sending his harness is this week, so we will get this rolling asap. Development usually take about 3 months. Afterwards, we'll have the batched produced. Yes, these will be brand new harnesses, just like what we have done for the SR20 and the RB harnesses into the 240sx chassis.

Some pictures here -

Float - Thanks mcuh for your support. Its greatly appreciated.

Glad to hear there is good interest there. We jsut finished up the RB20 harnesses that use 90% of the same connectors and they look sweet! We'll be ready by the end of the year.

Thanks

I think this should be added to one of the "things you buy for your swap" list for the CA. Most of the harness are hacked and people have problems so this would really give a good base for people to go on.

Tough to say at this exact moment, but we'll do our best to get the pricing to stay around $300 for the engine harness.
What do you guys think?

Thanks

Not a bad price considering what used ones were going for at one time.

Sorry Yuri, I'm selling the RB20 at some point soon, and just going straight VQ3X for a while. If I do a project with a JDM motor at some point I'm game for a GOOD harness if I don't have a normal standalone. GL with the CA harnesses.

No luck yet. There are a few connectors on the CA that are very old and are not produced for aftermarket. Trying to find a solution.

We'll keep everyone posted.

I'm interested as well. The harness that goes with my CA got stolen from its previous owner.

Here is what I was told today.

Basically, they have everything ready and should have a working prototype soon. I was given limited details, but it sounds like they should have something solid by the end of April for sure, but im just speculating.
