Discounts?! come on man I just paid $350 to do my harness and now that I read this post I'm angry that I didn't check, so little over $100 is a great deal.

p4hang wrote:Well, i thought I'd update you guys. I think Wiring specialties was in a rush or something because I dont think my harness turned out that good. some of the shrink wrapping sucks and I had to extend a few plugs myself. Maybe he had a new guy work on my harness for 7 weeks and yuri approved it. This is my first time with them and I dont think I will go to them again. i gave him all the specs to my car and said, "if you need anymore info on my car and what im running, please ask." Well, guess what. When I got my harness I thought it would be trouble free, but like I said its not bad but not what I expected from holding on to it for 7 weeks. He included a note that asked MAF I was gonna run after he shipped it out.

-1 for this company.
Good to know. Good thing I'll be sending my harness elsewhere (I got tired off/don't have much time to work on it)

I had my harness done at Wiring Specialties... Yuri was on vacation or out of town so someone else did it. they wired it to work w/ a stock ecu and it did, but when I plugged my power fc in, it wouldn't work. I had built performance look at it and they had to redo the wiring to get it to run. they said they took short cuts and put stuff together so it would run but only w/ the stock ecu....

Yuri's work is TOP NOTCH the best I have seen it looks factory and there are no open wires or splices visible.

They've got extra prices listed on the site for replacing some of the plugs but you should probably call them and tell them exactly how many you have missing.

SEND IT TO DURDAN PERFAB. Wiring Specialties work is just enough to get the car running but taylor durdan goes the extra mile to make the harness fit and fuction perfectly. And the prices are about the same. Who would you pick?

I was in disbelief when I got my harness back from Taylor.....in a good way.

Wiring Specialties is a site sponsor and they have done this site well. I did use Taylor Durdan to repair my harness and I loved the outcome. He took a really messed up harness and made it look awesome. Yuri/Wiring Specialties will do a good job too, it's just up to you. Taylor was a bit higher on price, but his end product is better looking than the average Wiring Specialties harnesses I've seen.

I got mine from JDM engine depot as well. It was missing all the stuff you mentioned above. I ended up just buying a new harness from someone that had it spliced to s13 chasis already.

Don't get me wrong though jdm engine depot is a good place and they are cool guys there. My sr came in awesome shape from them

+1 for Taylor Durdan! He did my harness and also integrated my AVCRs harness into it.

Did you even try to contact Yuri? Im sure if ya told him what was up he would have fixed it for free.

I had my Harness done by Yuri 2 years ago mine dropped right in and fired up on the first crank, Never had a Problem with it.

Im also running a Power FC on it also with no problems

^Yeah, the way I understand Yuri, he would have fixed for no charge. Maybe one of his associates/apprentices wired it, but that's partly why I went with Taylor, I knew he was the only one who would touch the harness and that I would get it back super quick. Still, I'm sure Yuri would have made it right.
