hey everyone, just wondering if anybody can give me some pointers on installing/replacing the wiring harness and ecu from a ka24 to sr20det. I just got the motor and dropping it in tommorrow, it came with wiring harness attached along with ecu, but theres two spots where its cut so i was wondering if i could get some help on where to splice that together to the old harness and hookups. i took a couple pics of where its cut let me know if i should take more so you can see it better.... THANKS for any advice by the way its just much appreciated and needed :)

Alright I'm about to blow you up with links so prepare yourself. First off, to answer your wiring question, use the FRSport guide along with the continuation.

After you get that figured out head over to the SR20 section and read the FAQ. That's where all your problems will probably be solved :dblthumb:

Post up some pics of the missing connections.

Sorry for the late reply, I must have missed this in my watched topics. That first pic is going to be a mess, that's a lot of wires that shouldn't be cut. I'll have to look at what connects to that and see if you can use your old KA harness to fix it.

For the second pic, you need to cut that connector off your KA harness and match the colors.

If you've got the funds, you would be better off buying the pre-made wiring specialties harness.
