Hey guys in the past year i have not had wipers and with the bad weather i need some asap. Basically the s14 kouki chassis has a newer looking 6pin plug on the motor its more square shape, the series 2 rb25 harness has an older rectangular style plug (similar to the older s14 wipers motors) my question is what did people do to get working wipers, a buddy said he just used the motor from his clip which is not an option for me, another buddy said he got an older zenki motor and he plugged it in and it worked on one setting which is fine for me, and the final option for me would be to cut the plug form my KA harness and replace the old square on my rb harness with it, but i neeed to find the pin settings when i splice it in, has anyone had this issue, i am going to search thru my fsm and see what i can find
i searched and this guy was onto the problem i had but he didnt get response he needed

btw i have the RB amp installed currently so i assume i just need to swap the 6 pin plug and put them in right spots

You can retain working wipers from ANY S14 motor swap simply by pulling out your original wiper motor harness loop out of your stock harness (also the easiest method). If you pull apart your stock harness and just follow the wiring from the wiper motor amp, it will eventually make it down to your main dash connector (F3?). You just need to either leave that loop of wire intact when modifying the harness to the main connector (F3?) or graft it back onto it if you cut it off. Keep in mind there is a ground wire that belongs with it on the engine bay side that needs to be grounded or your wipers will only work as off or full speed on.

i can deal with that, but i retaped harness so its now all clean heh damn that sucks, i could break out the toner, i was hoping someone knew where the pins from the s14 went and where the pins for the rb went and just transfer them its only 6 wires it might be worth it to break toner out but damn its a pain in the a**

f your Wiper Amp is fnuctional and you have the one from the S2 RB, then swaping the Wiper plug will help.
However, don;t forget that the F3 plug needs to be re-pinned to match the F3 of teh 240sx harness. Its all very easy and an be done in 5 minutes. Removing the entire wiper section out of teh s14 240sx is a bit of an overkill here.

A couple of wire color differences

240 - Pink - RB - Brown/white
240 - green - RB - Blue/red.

the rest should match, but a the blue.yellow and Purple wires als need to be cut and moved to the 240sx locations.
Have a look at the 240 F3 plug and it should make sense.
If you need a 97/98 240sx wiper plug, we have a bunch of them in stock, so just let us know.

Good luck,
Yury

page 100 of this fsm http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/240sx/1997/el.pdf gives me an idea but im kinda lost without the rb end of this. do the wires just xfer in the same position or do i need to move them when i change the plugs i am going to take some pics of this tonight

quick post, i cut plug and connected the new one and just as you said all the colors matched except the green and blue/red so i connected those and still no go on the wipers, so either my amp is bad ( i thought when amp was bad still moved just slow not sure) or my f3 pin has wiper problems, i used this 300plus.net wiring pinout, everything else works except that, only issue i can think of is that he had a zenki and i had a kouki but when i research the f3 plugs should be the same regardless, and he had a series 2 like i have, i looked at pinout and compared and it looked accurate to what should be changed

i got it figured out, if any one has anyquestions regarding this hit me up, i basically used a guide i think ehacker or eh! made with a custom chart i made and 300plus.net guide and moved some things around, and thnx yury for that heads up on the motor wiring, the wipers work on medium and high which is good enough for me
