after leaving i wished asked Ms. ImStricken to film it, but it was to late :)

(PS:there was no curb, she just shrieked "CURB" as an advice, in advance. no sexy-time for her today lololol/jk)

Not much driving for us out eastern Long Island. Got slammed, 26"+ inches for us. Just finished digging out, and the all the roads minus the mian Hwy are completley covered in 1" of ice. What a nightmare. But the Rogue did amazing driving through the blizzard on Friday night to get home.

Apparently we only got 24.5" where I live. So, that's two feet of snow...

Nemo was a powerful storm up here in NH, but the Rogue handled it well. I had to give a friend that works at a hospital a ride to and from work during peak of the storm. the highways were off limits to non essential personell. My condo association only plowed the main road and left my driveway with about a 4ft high wall of snow a few feet wide too!

The Rogue went through it all. I have driven to Niagara falls during snowstorms that shut down the NY Thru-way and had no problems at all. I am VERY impressed with the Rogue's abilities in the snow.

The only issue I had was last night's storm. My ABS kicked in when trying to stop going down a steep hill. After the ABS event was over I hear a series of clicks. I've had my Rogue for 3 years now and never heard that sound before. Should I be concerned?

Describe the clicking sound and duration... Also is it still clicking or just at the tine of the abs kicking on?

Wow! That's pretty impressive, can you post some shots of the snow? Down here in Delaware, all we got was a little rain. BTW, Is you ride FWD or AWD?

I'm no expert, but I did a little research and the general results point to a possible problem with a sensor in one of your wheel hubs...
BUT, if you hear it when braking and are not braking hard or have road conditions (like slick roads) to justify ABS activation, sounds like you have a wheel speed sensor out of whack (as you may also notice your stopping seems a little erratic too). That clicking while braking is the ABS pump engaging and doing it's job. Best course of action is figure out which speed sensor is bad and replace it. That will require changing a wheel hub (as the sensor is in the hub).

Some scan tools can read and capture data from the wheel sensors to help narrow down the faulty one.

I took some shots on my phone while driving. My Rogue is AWD.

The clicking seemed to happen after I removed my fooot from the break pedal. It seemed like about a 1 second burst of clicks. It felt and sounded like it came from the front right wheel. It has not done it again, but I also have not driven on ice again yet.

The Rogue has been so good to me. I am almost at 60,000 miles!!

The week before the storm I was out on Lake Winnipesauki!

Let me know if the pics don't post. I am trying to share them from photobucket and was not sure which link to use to share them.

This link to the album might work better than waiting for the images to load.
