I bought the car, I know it is expensive.......Why the rudeness?
Sorry, did not mean to be rude. I'd order the switch and see what the intall instructions say. I have gone to Nico's tech site and can't find a thing to help you. I am going to call my Infiniti dealer and see if I can get any info out of them. Don't know what else I can do for you. In my OP these cars have been over engineered with electronics.

Okay...

I took the car to the auto electric shop and he ask me if the car was a rebuild! He counted 19 different codes that the vehicle was showing. He mentioned that there were BCM codes as well and said I should take it to Infiniti. The car runs fantastic so I am a bit surprised.

The main problem is that I live 4 hours from an Infiniti dealer. So driving the vehicle down there is a pain. Is there any way to get those codes via a ODB 2 scanner. Will resetting them work?

Thanks so much!

Steve the teach still around?

I do have another question, I installed the NAV system could that be the culprit of the codes?

Thanks!

Question. Why don't you drive it, have it towed or trailered to the nearest Infiniti dealer even if its 4 hours away and let them look at it. My dealer will usually give me a loaner. Sometimes a little whining about the issues you are having and telling them you are thinking of a new car motivates them to give out a loaner. If it were me, I would be so disgusted I would tell them in so many nice ways this piece of junk you can have, give me a cash offer.

I think playing around with non-Infiniti techs just does not seem to be getting you anywhere. Just my OP.

Another point of view - when you're out of warranty, the dealer is the worst place to be.

No warranty = no loaner car, 2x the price on repairs, and they break something else while they fix the 1st problem and bill you for it. Actually they did the latter while I was still under warranty...

Your dealer may be the exception to the rule, and if it is, congrats! But the majority of Infiniti dealers are not the strong point of the brand.

The windows are fixed, but not after a visit to the dealership, I hesitantly took the car to the Nissan dealer and they spent around 6 hours diagnosing the problem and found a pinched wire in the passenger rear door. Total cost was $325.

If this happens to anyone please let me know and I can advise and help.

Thanks!

I have the same problem and it's a pain in the butt to get the switch off. you have to loosen the door panel or take it off. there are 3 small screws under the switch holding it in place. I checked for voltage at the window switch connector and door lock and had voltage to both. I am going to get one on ebay or a junckyard if I can find one. I was hoping it wasn't the bcm and that appears to be the case. I think the part #is 12F861. GOOD LUCK

This is getting really crazy!

Could this be a battery issue?

Thanks,

I believe this is the original battery the car has 55k

PLEASE tell me, what was the solution to this?? I am having the EXACT same problem! My Infiniti is now at 55.3k miles and my problem is identical. I had my battery replaced, TODAY - and it did not help at all. Following the replacement I of the battery I reset the windows (as someone else had mentioned in the responses to you, I found these instructions elsewhere a feed days ago; it did not work)

The rear power window (right hand side) does not roll down. I can't roll it down either at the master or on the door switch. There are no strange sounds when I try to roll it down and the fuses under the hood are good. Any ideas?
