Okay, so the Z31 T3 has a 7-bolt flange, and most are 5. It seems to only have to do with bolt spacing, as they just put two side by side. Can anyone confirm or deny that the downpipe will seal with a 5-bolt flange?

Based on these two pictures, I think it will. Anyone else?

(look down to see a turbo, like mine, disassembled, you will see the bolt pattern on the Turbine housing)

Let me know what everyone thinks.

i bet it would too. if not, it'd be so easy just to have either one of them drilled out and matched.

No, I don't think they will match up.

I just took a picture of a Z31 flange and the one you posted from ebay, and overlayed them in Photoshop, and they don't match up.

Is the flange you posted from ebay, like the one on the JGS Tools site? If so, it says on this site that it doesn't match up to Nissan T3 turbine housings. Also, it shows you the exact dimensions of the flange (CAD drawing) so you can check it out. Just click on the picture of the flange to view the dimensions.

Yes, it's almost identical. Where do I go to get one that will work, or am I stuck replacing the turbine housing?

I guess you have two choices: use the exhaust elbow off a z31 (if you don't want to run the internal wastegate just weld it shut) or you could fabricate a flange like Titan did in his setup. Check out what he did in this thread - zerothread?id=141058

Yes, I read that. I think though, that for a T3, the turbine housing might be cheaper, then if I wanted to, I could get the .48. I will probably stay with the .63 though.

Cocksmoker me?, where's your turbo? I have a Z31 T3 (.63) and a T04B (.60) compressor. That's a pretty good compressor for a low boost setup. You still haven't told me what you're driving. Also, for reference the compressor on the Z31 is 60 trim which is what comes with the stage 1 IAP kit, and a lot of people on these boards are using similar if not identical units.

Whatev Newbie, we will see. And I don't claim I know it all, but it seems I know more than to do the kind of thing that gets you kicked off of this board, and your posts locked. But go ahead and show me up. Also, it isn't as if you know me, you read my profile. Good work! A homophobe, who can read? In Frontenac? You belong down here.

No it's just your attitude behind the counter, and you still got me the wrong sized hose.

No I know you, but you haven't figured me out yet, and it makes you mad.

I'm still here.....So hows your drifting doing? I bet that thing is a machine with a quarter of a million miles on the suspension and bushings. Yea I heard the new craze, buy a RWD car, do a couple of doughnuts and your a "Drifter PRO"! Are you even gonna finish this turbo project before you leave "down here where I belong"? It has to suck to run a low boost setup because your too cheap to do it right. I'll be at 20-25 PSI soon......Too bad I have more in my EMS than you do in your whole sh!tbox
