I work at a hospital, and I see firsthand what drinking (or whatever) and driving do. I've told all my freinds that they can call me 24-7 and I'll pick their drunk a**es up no questions asked, I'd rather clean puke up than go to their funeral any day. That being said, merry Xmas and smoke em if you got em. Just don't drive after...

I am no means saying ripping a bong and getting in your car is a good idea. But smoke pot quite often. And if you wait long enough it's no big deal. As homeboy said the thc stays in your system longer than most drugs. You could coked out of your mind and have clean pee in as little as 48 hrs. Pot you could take 2 hits and its in your system for close to a month because thc and cannabanoids stick to your fat cells and release into your bloodstream/urine slower. You are not high for 3 weeks straight. I remember once when I wasn't smoking and just drinking and going in hung over after 5-6hrs sleep I still drove like **** where as if I had a late shift at work and would get high early in the day then chill for like 5 hours I actually drove better cause I was sober but still slighty paranoid about driving so I would drive much more cautiously.

Here's a link on youtube straight from the Speed Channel that basically proves my point except they had this dude do a driving test then let him smoke a joint then had him take the test again without 5 hours in between.

So, we are coming up to the New year party time............

Behave when it comes to driving.

Did you know that shooting some one in the head is against the law. You become a criminal.

Did you know that driving under the influence of drugs and or alcohol is against the law. When you get caught or kill someone else, you become a criminal.

Food for taught.

My wife is a deputy sheriff. She's seen way too many accidents that have involved people who were not legally DUI but were 0.4 or 0.5. We'll never know if the alcohol in their systems slowed them down JUST enough to prevent them from avoiding that accident.

So, we decide before we go out who is going to be the designated driver for the night and who gets to drink. We take turns and this system has worked well for us for 30+ years of marriage. We often give others rides home, too.
