I don't believe it is lowered, but I want no rubbing problems, been there done that with other vehicles. What is the difference in these wheels versus stock? example : width, off-set????adrians_s13 wrote:yeah, they'll work and fit fine. You might however want to roll your fenders so that they don't rub, if your car is lowered.
I don't care for "gum band" look tires. I like to have some sidewall on there. Heck, I even dropped wheel size on my truck to give me more "beefy" sidewalls. I think those will look great, I just want to make sure they will be trouble free if I get them. I don't want to get into fenderwell mods and ocassional rubbing like I had to deal with in the past with other vehicles.Loki wrote:They're 15"?? I don't think there would be much difference between stock and those. I think you should look for 17's though, such a small wheel only looks good with meshies IMO.
You guys gotta remember, you are much younger, and go for a much different look then what I want. The 15s will do me just fine so far as filling the well, and I will be able to get my tires for much less also! I just want to make sure I will have no problems using these wheels.adrians_s13 wrote:stock 15" wheels are like +35 or something higher like +40... don't remember too much...
the wheels you chose will be more flush than stock ones
and I agree with Loki on the 17" ordeal... 17's fill the wheel wells much better...
in that case, all should be fine. I recommend 215/55/15's all around.BiXLL wrote:You guys gotta remember, you are much younger, and go for a much different look then what I want. Do you happen to remember what size and off set you got? Did you have any rubbing issues at all? Do you have any pics with them on?Florida240sx wrote:I had those on my hatch. I liked them.I got 5 of them so I had a matching spare.
The Black and Chrome is what I thought did make it look like it was made for my car???? What wheels are you running on yours? (to give me an idea of what you mean by made for car) I added a pic to my sig, got any pics of yours?240DrpTop wrote:Just my 2cents. Nice wheels but,not crazy about having a wheel with all those extra bolt holes.Extra nooks and crannies to clean. I would much rather see a wheel that looks like it was made esspecially for your car.I just think it would give a cleaner look, and the appearance that some one has taken the time to do it the right way. Also they seem a little pricey.Any pics of your ride? By the way your bolt pattern should be 4x4.5(4x114.3)mm
I'm in my 30s, and trust me, you don't want 15s on a vert. They look tiny.BiXLL wrote:You guys gotta remember, you are much younger, and go for a much different look then what I want. OK, now you got me scratchin my head. It has 15s on there stock! I don't think they look tiny????ishkabibble wrote:

Well, I think even 16"s look a little small. 17" is "just right".BiXLL wrote:OK, now you got me scratchin my head. It has 15s on there stock! I don't think they look tiny????
Emailed you.BiXLL wrote:Call me an old man if you want, but I really like these wheels. They are a bit "old school" with a little bling. I think they would look great on my black vert, but will they fit/work?

I understand what you guys are saying, and why you are saying to move up to a bigger wheel. I have played around modding MANY different vehicles in my days. I have taken things to extremes, limits, and beyond. The amount of grief and frustration gotten from wheels/tires rubbing, hitting, just not fitting properly is no longer worth it to me. The absolute biggest, highest, lowest, loudest, etc. possible is no longer necessary for me to be happy with the look/performance. I want to do a mod 1 time, and have it be trouble/hassle free, forget about it, and move to my next project. I would rather do something and not get to the limits of what I can get away with, and never have to worry about redoing it at this point. Am I making sense, or is this just an old time moder rambling?donmeca2020 wrote:i would also go with a bigger wheel, if your buying new wheels might as well step it up a size or two.
Rambling. If you choose the right wheel and tire sizes, you have nothing to worry about. There are plenty of experienced NICO members that can help you out if you have questions about fitment.BiXLL wrote:I understand what you guys are saying, and why you are saying to move up to a bigger wheel.
