Call me an old man if you want, but I really like these wheels. They are a bit "old school" with a little bling. I think they would look great on my black vert, but will they fit/work?

yeah, they'll work and fit fine. You might however want to roll your fenders so that they don't rub, if your car is lowered.

I don't believe it is lowered, but I want no rubbing problems, been there done that with other vehicles. What is the difference in these wheels versus stock? example : width, off-set????

They're 15"?? I don't think there would be much difference between stock and those. I think you should look for 17's though, such a small wheel only looks good with meshies IMO.

I don't care for "gum band" look tires. I like to have some sidewall on there. Heck, I even dropped wheel size on my truck to give me more "beefy" sidewalls. I think those will look great, I just want to make sure they will be trouble free if I get them. I don't want to get into fenderwell mods and ocassional rubbing like I had to deal with in the past with other vehicles.

stock 15" wheels are like +35 or something higher like +40... don't remember too much...

the wheels you chose will be more flush than stock ones

and I agree with Loki on the 17" ordeal... 17's fill the wheel wells much better...

You guys gotta remember, you are much younger, and go for a much different look then what I want. The 15s will do me just fine so far as filling the well, and I will be able to get my tires for much less also! I just want to make sure I will have no problems using these wheels.

in that case, all should be fine. I recommend 215/55/15's all around.

Do you happen to remember what size and off set you got? Did you have any rubbing issues at all? Do you have any pics with them on?

Just my 2cents. Nice wheels but,not crazy about having a wheel with all those extra bolt holes.Extra nooks and crannies to clean. I would much rather see a wheel that looks like it was made esspecially for your car.I just think it would give a cleaner look, and the appearance that some one has taken the time to do it the right way. Also they seem a little pricey.Any pics of your ride? By the way your bolt pattern should be 4x4.5(4x114.3)mm

I'm in my 30s, and trust me, you don't want 15s on a vert. They look tiny.

These are 16s with stock suspension:

Well, I think even 16"s look a little small. 17" is "just right".

The only thing I can say is look at pictures of verts on NICO, and maybe wait until next spring before you buy some wheels. There are TONS of wheels out there, and you might find some that you like better than the 15" Sportmaxes.

Hey Bill..

See if you can track down Biggie. I think he's got those same wheels... and they look fantastic on his 'vert.

Whether it's that same model or another.. I am fairly sure he's got 15" SportMax's.. should be similar width and offsets... so he'll be able to give you a definitive answer on fitment.. plus a picture to let you see if you like them.

*edit*.. oops.. I was wrong.. Biggie has 16" sportmax 002..

Hey BiXLL, Really nice black vert. Looks very clean.Unfortunally I'm in the same boat as you are in .I'm still have the stock wheels.Been on the fence about wheels for a while now.I like the stock look,A little old school myself.I'm leaning towards running a stock wheel with a goodyear white letter racing tire and lowering the car about 1.5 inches. To try to get a nice clean look with some suttle hard to detect mods. And also keep the ride as smooth as possible. Thanks for the pics.I'll post some soon.I do agree with Isk.17s look great.Check out wheels america, enter 2003 nissan sentra,Wheel no.4Q4Q8.This is a nice stock wheel that has the same bolt pattern that you need, with a great 17 inch look,at a good price.

I found a good thread for you Bill on those Sportmax wheels.. Looks like most are going with 16" wheels for the 240. There are a couple pics of 15"s on the following thread as well..

Emailed you.

But just also noticed that these were different wheels (couldn't wait on dialup to see ebay auction). The 8" with +15 offset should be about perfect, with a slightly smaller tire than I have you shouldn't have to pull the fenders, I'd always recommend a roll. I'd say something like a 215/50 or 55/15 would be about perfect, or a 225/50/15.

i would also go with a bigger wheel, if your buying new wheels might as well step it up a size or two.

I understand what you guys are saying, and why you are saying to move up to a bigger wheel. I have played around modding MANY different vehicles in my days. I have taken things to extremes, limits, and beyond. The amount of grief and frustration gotten from wheels/tires rubbing, hitting, just not fitting properly is no longer worth it to me. The absolute biggest, highest, lowest, loudest, etc. possible is no longer necessary for me to be happy with the look/performance. I want to do a mod 1 time, and have it be trouble/hassle free, forget about it, and move to my next project. I would rather do something and not get to the limits of what I can get away with, and never have to worry about redoing it at this point. Am I making sense, or is this just an old time moder rambling?

Rambling. If you choose the right wheel and tire sizes, you have nothing to worry about. There are plenty of experienced NICO members that can help you out if you have questions about fitment.
