opinions on sportmax 501 or 002

Im ready to get new wheels, and Im going sportmax

I personally like the 002s better, but I also want 16x8s, and only offset I think is +0 which i dont know if ill be able to make it look right with just a fender roll and pull. and without stretching some tires or running crazy camber specs.

so really im looking at the 501s 16x8 +15 I think i have a better chance of making it look right with decent size tires, and just a fender roll and pull.

Whats your take on the 501s. Im afraid they look too old school, or like 90s american muscle.

Or does anyone have an pics of the 501s on a 240?

unless someone has a better suggestion for about $400 for wheels that are 16x8 and decent quality.

501 with a 225/50R15, a fender roll and a little negative camber. Your set my friend.

those were the tire sizes i was thinking. fender roll maybe pull are on the agenda as well.

would anyone contest against going a little wider than 225 on the tires for more grip. Im all about grip no drift.

im just contemplating getting springs and struts with a 2 inch drop, not sure if its goin to be low enough. (its either that or coilovers, but im not sold on the coilovers for the price yet)

Wider than a 225 on an 8" will balloon, so just get really sticky 225's.

Also if you know how to adjust and use coilovers then get some, like Megan Racing they're like 800 a set I think. If you dont know how to use coils or just dont want to mess with them then get a spring/strut combo. But coilovers are just so much better cause of the adjustability you get.

awesome. Im planning on same tire size, but gunmetal I think. and the eibach or somethin that is at least a 2 inch drop. i think ill go with these.

Just ordered the gunmetal 501's off ebay for 404 shipped. Ordered on Wed. and they are scheduled for delivery on tues. Can't wait. Have had my 240 for four years and am finally getting around to getting some rims. Even though they are just sportmax's I am still excited.

Are the fenders rolled/pulled on those 002s...I've got em in 16x8 +0 and they stick way out...i need a roll and a pull on mine. Not sure about the negative camber since I don't sit too low and have pretty good space between fender and tire.
