Hi, I'm going to try to give you all the information I can, if I forget something I will update with the new info as soon as I get home from a trip this weekend. I need to know this before I go and order the wrong wheels.

My car is a 1996 Nissan 240sx Base ModelI will be installing the KYB AGX struts that I have sitting here on the carI will be using Megan Racing Lowering Springs (1.75" drop all around)Powerslot stock size rotors and normal 240 calipers

Here is the wheel I am about to order, but I want to be sure I will have enough clearance now that I am lowering by 1.75" all around.

I'm looking at Azul Speed 5 wheels, 17x7 offset HPOtires will be either Sunny Tires SN3800 215/45/17 SR:W TW:280 or Nexen 5000 205/40/17 SR:H TW:420

I just want to make sure everything is going to clear with the drop and the wheel size increase, like I said. Any input or comments (useful) will be greatly appreciated before I do something stupid and order wheels I can't use because I didn't ask first again.

Thank you.

what's the offset of the wheels?

And honestly, I wouldnt recommend actually spending money on a set of 17x7 wheels. Waste of money imo... theres no "upgrade" in width, plus it will look funny since its gonna be tall and skinny

AND, considering that they are 17x7's, I can almost bet that the offset is gonna be a +40 or something, in which case, you shouldn't get it.

Heres my suggestion, if you're gonna spend money on wheels, at least get a wheel width of at least 8" (preferably 9, or a 9/10" staggar) with a wheel offset as close to +20 or less (it depends on wheel width chosen). Otherwise, theres no point in spending money on something you'll regret. Stock wheels should suffice until you have enough dough for an actual "upgrade"

I like how you work thing in the Wheels and Tires forum Adrian.

To contribute to the thread, check out enjukuracing.com and look into the MB Weapons wheels. Cheap, Durable, and not many people have them.

To tell you the truth, I wanted something wider than stock but not necessarily larger. Maybe 9 or 9/10. I was origionally thinking of staying with 15's... But I wasn't very sucsessful in finding anything that looked good, or much of anything at all since I have a 4 lug set up...

Then I thought maybe 16's would look better on the car, but I really didn't want to go to 17's or larger unless I had to. But alas, the 16's I ordered were out of stock then unavailable.

I'll check out the link above. I like the looks of the Weapons on Enjuku and I'll contact them to see if the have a 4 lug.
