NO. OMG! I gave you a link to a perfect working/refurbished Nakamichi CD-400 on ebay. The auction ended at ~$215.I wish you or someone else would have snapped that up. You are not going to find anything near to that quality for under $500 brand new

I think a 5 1/4 will be the easiest to fit, but I think a 6 1/2 would fit.

well, i'll tell you my new plan!!!! LOL

(my first plan)--- i have a friend who says he can do the whole install, and i know he's not too bad with installing audio stuff, however, i have this thing about everything being put together so it looks just like it did before (especially having to run new speaker wire to everything!!). LOL (second plan)---- i have another friend who is friends with a guy that owns an install shop close by that i'm more leaning towards now (think it would be better to pay a pro, and possibly work a discount through my friend, and get everything in right and guaranteed).

i'm leaning toward finding a reasonable HU, 6x9 speakers, possibly an amp on the net--ebay, here, etc. step two would be to pick out both 5 1/4 and 6 1/2 coaxials or seperates from the shop and when they have the door apart see which one would fit the best (obviously would want the larger 6 1/2 size!). i think an amp is pretty much required if using seperates with a crossover. they also sell used stuff, so might be able to score a deal on the fronts! will have the cash this week to start picking stuff up, so if anyone see's anything i'm looking for let me know! remember, since i'm not in the Q all the time, just looking for the most reasonable, decent sounding equiptment!!! thanks guys

Sounds like a good (second) plan.

And unless the dscount on the used stuff is huge go ahead and get new door speakers.

I'll keep my eye out for a HU, with Aux In and Sirius hook up.
