Perhaps one of Toyota's offerings in the sportscar area, oh wait...

Perhaps an over-glorfied Civic that's slower than the Spec-V (RSX-S). Or the S2000, unless of course you like your power this century.

Yea man. Just get the Z, exhaust, TT kit, and suspension and some Volks and youre set. Plus the girls will love it too. Even if its stock.

MSRP ranged from 18k-24k in 1998. 350z starts at about 27k today; figuring ~3% inflation that's about 15% since '98. Basically a 350Z costs what a 240 theoretically would today.
UNBELIEVABLE you just figured out a loaded 98 $24k 240 costs what a base $27K 350Z would today

The base Z has been listed at $27K since it came out. The dealer premium has started to disappear (they get to make it up on the Roadster). And most buyers chose higher trims like CKwik said.

The Scion tc is a nice looking car. It keeps making me do a double take. The return of a 2dr SE-r would be nice.S2000 or S2200?? is alright (add roots supercharger if needed), but I'm not a vert kinda guy.

Hmmmm......I havent seen a Tc on the road yet. Just Xa/bs. The TRD package sounds tempting though.

From what I understand the feathering problem in the 350z is limited to just the 2003. And it was a minor alignment adjustment. I got that recall notice on mine, and it was fixed quickly and I got two free tires out of the deal (which ain't cheap.) Plus they extended the warranty on the other two tires. Not a bad deal. Otherwise the Z has been a very good ownership experience for me. I wouldn't be too concerned about recalls unless you were thinking about buying a Focus.

I would wager to say that the 350Z probably has not had as many recalls as the 02 Altima. Still, Nissan has been proactive about recalls. Unlike other car makers.

I only had one recall on my 02 Altima to date. Did you have more than one on yours?
