I just installed my new PLX wideband (gauge Type) it has the out put for the narrow band to the ECU. MY mods are...Top mount T3 T4 60-1 garrett turbofull custom 3inch exhaust(no leaks)255 walbroZ32 maf50# msd injectorsJWT ECU for maf and injectorsMy question is during idle my AFRs are all over the place. Like 14.6 then 15 then 15.9 then 16. I cant get steady AFRs anywhere through the RPM ranges. So then I installed a SAFC II and it made it a little better but im just worried somthing might be wrong. Is it normal for the AFR to be jumping like that? BTW with just the JWT ECU my car was super lean as well.

How far back is your sensor installed? The AEM wideband instructions says it needs to be at least 36 inches away from the turbo or it'll damage the sensor and/or give you crazy readings.

Yea...they say 36 inches, but 36 inches of DP is alot! I dont think Nissan and every car that has a turbo would put the stock O2 like 4-10 inches from the turbo if it were to give damage or wrong readings. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I dont know. 36 inches is actually the start of the testpipe on my car. I don't want to risk my sensor so I'm gonna put it there.

Its around 24 inches, right before my flex pipe. I measured where my factory o2 sensor was and put it there. Do most of you guys have steady afrs?
