I'm sure there must be some in marketing on this site?
If a product costs less than $1 to produce and thru advertising and marketing hype you can convince people to pay a hefty premium like $6 for your product you are going to make a ton of money. We've all been bombarded with advertisements for DSL, Cable, and Fios. Each is claiming superiority. Do a little research and you'll quickly discover the Bull$hit.Walk into Best Buy or Circuit City and buy a $50 item and they want to sell you a service contract attempting to put fear in you that what will you do if it breaks? Of course you answer you'll just throw the $uckin thing out and never return to that store.
Gasoline and oil are no different. Hype and marketing urge consumers to go for expensive synthetic oil and premium gasoline & try to make you believe your vehicle will last longer and love you long time. Bull$hit!
Save your hard earned money.
Just my $.02
