Kyle@ Stillen, this is where you chime in with... 10% discount to all NICO members since we are a major source of your revenue...lol

Also, I'd like a 10% refund retroactive if this happens

10% is what you give someone who you dont like... 15% is what you offer a friend... and 25% is a deal! But if a retailer was selling them for $219, we know that they are making money, and it shouldnt be a problem with STILLEN matching it.. or going LOWER for us

I wonder what they would want for me to become a retailer of their product... Id buy in bulk and break it down for us if they let me.

Yup, a lot of people probably wouldn't understand how great it sounds until they hear it for themselves. It is a thing of beauty

Hey guys,

We can consider looking into a group buy on these. How many people would be interested? I can't say exactly what the discounts will be as it really depends on how many people are interested.

Thanks,

Kyle

P.S.-I am going to be leaving the office today at 4 and won't be running until Monday. So don't think I've abondoned this if you don't hear from me until then.

I am in for a 08' 2.5 CVT for sure for a discount. I've been putting it off, might not have gone for it at all, but if it's a group thing and there's some love in there, I am definitely down.

Thanks for this forum all the input and opinions really make things alot easier.

Hey Novs25, don't buy one yet.. wait until Monday when Kyle returns to the office! I don't think they can turn down the offer since it definatlely looks like they will have a bulk offer on their hands. And if 15-20 isn't enough for a decent discount, then i don't think STILLEN should really call themselves a NICO sponsor... just being realistic!

Remember, I have nothing to gain in this, I already purchased mine at regular price, but I would like to see you guys save a buck, or two, or 20, or 30, or 40, or 50!

rjdmmfl1 - thanks, i will def wait till next week. Another question - do any wires on the injen intake rub up against the hood? Also did u notice any performance gains yet? Honest opinion i know it is said so many times but another one wont hurt? What about gas mileage? Sorry for repeated questions

I noticed a slight increase in throttle response, but as far as power goes, don't think this will turn your car into a racer. Gas mileage wasn't affected, except when I first bought it. I drove it like I stole it for the first 2 weeks because I loved the sound of it.

You can definately feel an increase in throttle response... no doubt about that. as far as feeling the power... how much do you really think one can feel a 5-8 hp increase?...not much huh? (Let's not start up the 12 + HP gain conversation again) Well I actually think I feel it a bit, and before I get flamed, let me explain why...

Prior to installing the intake, when taking off from a red light, there was always a power jerk, and then a slight lag, and then the power kicks in... To me (and this may very well be a placebo effect) it feels like the slight lag has decreased in time, ever so slightly. Now I will admit it may very well be that the sound of the intake at WOT makes me feel like its accelerating a bit faster, but I'm happy convincing myself that that lag time has decreased by a few tenths of a second... Eric, DO NOT blow my high by telling me its all in my head!!!!!!

It is indeed a placebo effect!

I'm not doubting that it helped out a little bit, but we all know you're NOT going to see 12HP at the wheels

Rob, I know how you're feeling. I was on that same high for about 3 weeks that you're on right now. Unfortunately, it'll subside and you'll barely realize you have the intake on unless you're opening it up. I guess all good things can't last forever, huh?

A lot of times, if your address doesn't match the billing address on the credit card, nothing will happen. Nobody at a shop wants to call and tell people that "oh btw you need a different address for this order".
i would have to agree...i bought tons of stuff for them for my mr2 turbo and always had good service.
