I tried it using the actual key from the intellikey (in case that makes a difference for the auto unlock/lock) and it still didn't work on mine...

I also tried every combination of the window function and couldn't get it to work...

*shrug*

My doors lock automatic in 4 minutes if I forget to lock. No auto lock upon start up only when I leave the car key in hand. Strange but it is not a bad feature. First time it happened I thought someone hit the car with something and low and behold it was locked so I repeated it and it worked every time. I miss the front windows down when you hold the open button on the key which I had in the Maxima. In hot weather it was handy to wait a few minutes before getting in.

I have a SL with CVT and Tech pack

I'll leave my doors unlocked next trip... (which will be in about 20 minutes ;oD) and see what happens...

I finally figured out the auto door lock trick! You have to wait for the interior light to dim out before you start the car and then the doors will lock automatically! It takes a few seconds for the light to dim out... dont know if its worth the wait for the autolock! btw, i have an sl but on my old S the auto door locked worked too! Let me know if this works for you too!

I have an SL with Convenience and Tech package. The only time the doors lock after I start the car is when I accidentally hit the button in my pocket.

I love the I-Key but I am getting too lazy. I drove my dad's altima last weekend when my wife and I stayed there and I hated getting out the key to unlock and start the car.

WOW, my locks don't lock automatically. I am not sure that is a feature on the car. I wonder if the dealer has a clue what they are doing?

the 97 Grand AM GT i traded in for my versa had the auto lock feature and over the 10 yrs i owned that car it was one of the most annoying features of it. when dropping kids off at whatever event you would always have to manually unlock the door. it is a wonder that somebody never ripped the door handle off because everybody always wanted to open the door while it was still locked and for some reason could never figure out it was locked so they would keep trying to open it lol
