my doors lock and unlock with the ignition, never had any problems.proxim2020 wrote:Do you have some sort of aftermarket alarm? There's no automation when it comes to locking or unlocking. Each time you want to do either or, you'll have to press the button on the fob or door. At least that's how it is for everyone else so far.

Nope, I have an SL with ABS and that is it besides the aluminum sills and mud flaps.BBISHOPPCM wrote:...Neither does mine. Do you have the convenience package? This must be a convenience package thing...
HMMM dunno!pfc369 wrote:i have a sl with abs too. my door never lock or unlock by itself.
I'm guessing it's a programmable feature through the keyless entry system.Clipsed wrote:

I have an SL with ABS and mine doesn't auto lock or unlock. But then I don't have the mud flaps. It must be the mud flapsClipsed wrote:

I read mine entirely and there is no mention about auto lock/unlock. I have a Canadian Versa SL w/ CVT and Tech Package.achr wrote:I can't say for sure about the Versa as I don't have mine yet (Pick it up in about 2 hours from now) but many cars have programmability for features such as doorlocks. There's a handy little book that comes with most vehicles called an "Owner's Manual" which reviews such features. It's surprising how much information is in there. May be worth a read sometime.
Hmm...I guess when you read your manual and locate the auto unlock/lock feature, you can let everyone else know about it.achr wrote:I can't say for sure about the Versa as I don't have mine yet (Pick it up in about 2 hours from now) but many cars have programmability for features such as doorlocks. I know this really good bodyman who can program a car to be any color.marleyfan wrote:How do I program mine to be black?
Yeah, really. Too much work.proxim2020 wrote:

first place I looked genius. Guess what? no mention of it.achr wrote:I can't say for sure about the Versa as I don't have mine yet (Pick it up in about 2 hours from now) but many cars have programmability for features such as doorlocks. The mud flaps must be it as I have every available option but them and mine doesn't autolock.marleyfan wrote:

I have the mud flaps but my doors don't lock or unlock either.marleyfan wrote:

I doesn't work for with the fob, well at least for me. I tried that a while ago.KimberKenobi wrote:as another aside, does anybody's auto window down with the fob work? With the Intellikey, apparently you should be able to roll down all the windows...
I don't think anyone has gotten this to work. I know they included this feature on the new Altima. Seems to me they also intended to put it on the V but never actually got around to it.proxim2020 wrote:
