For what its worth....I'm actually a fan of quite a few hondas. They're great cars with a lot of potential. Also, I plan to pick up an NSX in the next couple years. Then again, that's far from your run of the mill Honda

I tried looking for a NSX before I got my Z...no luck

Hondas are hated because we all...I mean everyone at least once in their lifetime saw a "fixed-up Civic' and went

if its not the flames...its the color...if its not the color it is the crappy bodykit...or my favorite...the unpainted front bumper...foolios that would rock an unpainted modified bumper for more than a month rather than using the normal bumper while getting the new bumper the paint that it needs.

....oh one more fav...the non matching wheels..."The Racer look" stock wheels in the front and nice wheels in the back. <---save this look for the track!

in summary...

Hondas attract the biggest idiots! sucks for the cool Honda drivers

yea it all depends on the owner, just because someone owns a nice car and they know it doesnt mean they have to act like jack holes.

2ndVQ35 I agree with some of your thoughts and opinions except the one about 4 year old Neon SRT4s going for $18,000. I was on auto trader and 2004 neons are going for 14-15K at the most. And the one uneducated person who is trying to sell his 2005 Neon for 17-18k will never get that price.

Read on...Ryan and I are bud's now...lol...and no harm was intended or received. He seems like a sharp and reasonable guy, and if you do read on you will see that he and I agree with free speech as well.

I do get a tiny bit abrasive when people carve into the SRT-4 because I don't really feel that it is a founded opinion in most cases - and I have found myself to be correct in that supposition. On SRT-4's being sold for 18 large, it happens all the time at dealers around here...I was turned down on an offer I made for 18 grand on a Certified ACR with 28k on the tach...and turned down at 17,600 on a 04 black stocker with 18k miles and a roof. Check out autotrader for dealers in the philadelphia area and you will find about 10 examples in a 50 mile radius and they are all usually between 14 for junkers and 20 for super lo mileage gems. I agree it's ludicris - but it's factual.

So in honor and respect of free speech, CHEERS!

And , BTW, you don't sound like an a..hole. No worries.

I love my Integra very very much and i put alot of work into that mofo...but i am Nissan at heart tho. But anyways i bought my Integra of some rich white boy who really tried to do his own stuff to the car and ended up with terrible body work and cheap ebay **** everywhere. It's come a long way and i could definitely say i have one of the cleanest Integra's in CT. But it is really the stupid people and get these cars and **** on because they are cheap and the same with 240's. People just need to open their eyes and see the car for what it is and not what people do to it.

Isn't the new cobalt SS with the turbo'd ecotech faster? 260 hp/ 260 tq from the factory.

I'm no fan of neons. They are notorious for breaking down and dying. But I have to at least respect the srt-4. Ive been to the drag strip and they can hang with a lot of cars. I have not raced one at the track but I know they stay in 13's. Very respectable for a street driven 4 banger.

I am not American,I am Asian, and my English is very suck,so.....Hope some people can help me to say accurately.

Why do you blast it?I do not agree.

Honda S2000 is nice,But it comes from Japan,Dodge is comes from U.S.,They are different. And your post picture is Neon 1995~98.It is not the race car?And Honda Civic isn't.Many Honda Civic has become modified car in mine country. They completely are Honda Civic 1992~95(Some are the newest),Most are Hatchback. Why?Because they are cheap. And they just do street race..

Therefore,I am not good to Hondas impression.

And The SRT-10 Viper of Dodge is good, too.

Welcome to NICO. Good question. I think in reference to your statement on the S2000 I think that Nissan 350Z owners feel that probably the overall design and engine power gives the Z the edge. Personally I dont hate honda's I just dont like the S2000. The neon is a whole other story, I dont really care for any Dodge vehicles but I can assume that people do buy these because they are less expensive and easy to mod. I think that everyone who owns their own brand of car or truck feels like it is superiour to the competitor, kinda see what I mean.

I like the NSX, but the rest are just too civilian affair. Even the Civic Type R is a half hearted car with factory feelings rice, i.e. not really designed to be a complete car but just upgraded normal Civic hatch.

S2000 is like a 220HP RWD Civic with no top. It feels like putting out a Civic Type R for people with Midlife-Crisis. Regardless of power, the older as well as newer Z feels more complete as a performance car.

i personally have nothing against hondas, especially alot of your kids in or just getting out of school the civic is one of your best bargans in bang for buck. myself i went domestic way cheaper and a lt1 z28 is a good bit faster then a civic stock for stock not to mention the price was not much more at all than the civics i looked at thats why i never owned one. now that im out on my own working i have my dream car the z but i still get the urge to buy a old civic to see what i can do with it

Yeah you know I have a personalized plate right now on my Z but if everything works out and I get the GT-r next year, I will put a personalized plate that says "SLEEPER" or "SLOPOKE" or "THEKING" or "URSLOW"

I don't think anyone HATES Honda's. I mean sure they can be slow, but for the money they are reliable good economy cars. Now I HATE riced out cars (which most civics are) and I HATE riced out douchebag drivers (which alot of civic drivers are)

PS if you get a GT-R you need a plate saying IMSLO or something like, make a joke about the GT-R

mostly because of what teens do to them and then say their fast...when they arent. id say about 1% of all CIVICS are actually FAST.

and even then...you can make a mini van fast, that doesnt mean its a good car.

Bunch of Honda haters.

I think all of you should have one in your garage. VTEC is one of the best engine. I can beat everybody on my street about 2- secs from the garage to the end of the driveway.

Check out my ride.[IMG][/IMG]

Even got the intake too.

Just kidding. They are great cars tho just some of the people who drives them.

After I drove my friends Prelude type SH, I am eventually getting a eg hatch and drop in a H22a and build it. Very good motors and stock with 200 whp I believe. Pretty fun cars exept for FWD. Reliable too.

Edit: I don't hate all Hondas, Or all the Drivers, but there are some that just shouldn't of been turned into what they are.

Yeah i remember the Prelude sweet little car, handled well but that FWD was the killer for that car, should have made it RWD.

Yah, I miss my friends, we went head on into an oncoming SCHOOL BUS! I think we hit it about 80MPH and however fast the bus was going. Right when he shifted in to 4th gear is when we lost it so around those mph's I guess. There was a corner and he didn't feel like slowing down I guess so I tell him to, he stomps on the brakes and turns right, we start a slide, i'm like ohhh Sh1t were gonna lose it, I see the bus so, I reach over to grap the wheel because I knew he wouldn't even think to countersteer and right before I got it the wheels caught traction and snapped to the left, I can say that's the only time I seriously thought I was going to die. We hit it and spun around once and came to a stop. I get out while the bus skids to a stop making all kinds of noises and dumping fluids everywhere. Three people in the car all of us made it out ok. I walked home since it was right around the corner from my house pretty much and I didn't want to talk to the sheriff because I had my friends 'illegal substance' in my pocket. Last drive i'll ever take with a driver with little experience at going fast. Must say props to Hondas crash testing, I felt the airbag but that's it. Like I got hit in the face a few times but better that than death.

Dodge Challenger has been released already, maybe a month or couple months ago. It's very pretty looking car. Looks so humongous though. but it's looks pretty. ridiculously marked up at some dealerships.

Anyway, back to the topic... I love the heck out of Honda! I wouldn't have been able to afford my dreams if it hadn't been for Honda's reliable, dependable and affordable vehicles that has plenty of purpose, considering where our economy's current situation is. Have you all seen the current models? They are not bad at all. Honda's pretty smart about their vehicles. They're not focused much on high performance. They're manufacturing cars that have more use to a majority of average drivers. Very well thought out vehicles, I must say. Honda's never made it difficult for me to sell their product. By the way, the Accord coupe actually looks neat.
