most of these old s13's are going to do everything your car is. damn just today I end up replacing both front calipers, pads, rotors, shim kit, and master cylinder. two weeks before an altenator and battery. you just got to get under there and fix it.

i second that.

And wtf do shocks have to do with my belt squealing? And how does lubing my door hinges stop the belt from squealing?

and I know how to work on the car decently. I'm poor, so I can't go around replacing all the parts possible here, so I ask to maybe find out what specific part will need replaced, especially with the door problem. My door being open is in no way connected to my belt squealing, unless its something electrical.
the hell is your prob? dont come in here like your sh1t dont stink boy, you post things and then get an attitude. slap yourself right now, take your dumbA55 under the hood and freakin listen to the part thats squeaking, what kind of squeaking is it? belt? metal? bearings? maybe its the damn gerbil in your A55 trying to get out.

dont reply to me with an attitude either, i wasnt the one with a stupid thread.

So if no one born in the 90's is allowed to drive a s Chassis then half of nico will have driverless 240's lol at any rate not all of us "young folk" are stupid (no offense to any one) just some of us have a little more common sense to ask someone with more experience before we do something

Mine squeals, I don't care though. Draws attention to my car... lol. (maybe not the attention you want though.. )

On a serious note, I would spray some belt conditioner on your belts and remove the A/C belt. If that doesn't work, wait till spring and see if it stops. It's not as annoying as you make it out to be, belt squealing is a common problem when its cold outside.

No use wasting money on a alternator you might not need.

yes that about sums it up.

anyways, thanks to all who actually provided answers. I'll tighten my alternater belt and go from there. If it ever warms up I'll see how the squealing goes. I'll probably end up replacing a bunch of crap anyways.

Adjust your flux capacitor. It thats fine make sure your muffler bearings are in check. i just had my car inspected and they told me that was going. i guess its a common problem on these cars. Also theres a recall for the reservoir for the headlight fluid.

Your car squeals because of the pignose. Swap to 91-94 bumper and it'll stop.

On a somewhat related note my 240 doesn't squeal at all.
