And plus it is stylish, 4 banger, RWD, handles well

its my first car and i love it!!

good thing i didnt bought one of those civics or prelude that i was looking!!

I've wanted one since was about 12.

Kinda chilled with the idea of getting one for a while.

I went to Japan in '06 and everything came back to me.

I bought mine in '07 as a 16 year old.

But, why did I get it?

1) Not F(ail)WD

2) Fun to drive

3) Engine whores (SR,CA,KA,RB,VH,VG,VQ,JZ,LSX.....)

4) Makes me feel like I'm in Japan agian. 5) Because I think they're cool.

I saw mine rotting under a tree out in the country, and it broke my heart. Im a nissan fan so i saved it for $750. Some day it will be my cheap daily driver as intendedbut i dont know when or how cheap.

Because at the right angle the s13 coupe reminds me of an r32.

I had a job videoing drift events and wanted to start drifting. Didn't like 240s and wanted to be different, so I bought a FC RX7 and stripped it. That didn't work out, sold it and bought a black S13 hatch.

Fell in love with it. Now I have two S13s and an RB in my drift car. All within a year. 240s just have that aura...

1. Cheap2. ALMOST perfect 50/50 weight bias (perfect for road racing)3. endless aftermarket4. big engine bay that was perfect for my ls15.ugly stock but they look great when converted to s13 silvia or s13.46. Great suspension with lots of potential

I always liked Nissans, and once I found out it was RWD it was over! I love the fact that you can put a RB or LS1 motor in them!!! endless supply of aftermarket goodies help too! Oh and S13.5 conversions are sexy as hell!!!

When I picked mine, I didn't really know about the potential... I saw it on autotrader and really liked the styling of the coupe. It was either that or an acura integra, but I found a 93' Auto with 127k and bought it from the original female owner for 2k. Best investment ever.

My friend scored a cheap base model in nice shape and was deciding if he was going to flip it or turn it into a drift car. He flipped it to me. He did some work to it but the car was in amazing shape anyway. 2500$ for an unraped automatic with a perfect interior and near perfect exterior. He offered to swap it to manual for me for the same price but I passed. A couple months later we swapped it to manual.

Back in 2004 I picked up a magazine called S3 which featured a gold s14.5, done perfectly down to the last detail. Fell in love with the car, researched everything about it, looked at endless amount of pictures of 240's. Four years later I turned 16, got my licensed and picked up my first car a 1997 240sx

It all started with this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...lated

then a friend got me into Initial D... I loved the ae86 and read tech articles dreaming about one day owning one.

but they all seemed over priced and needing a lot of work... so then I eyed the heir to the throne...

s13's.. and I spent many days studying their specs and trying simply to understand the basics of the car.

I prowled ebay, because at the time it was the only way to see and learn more about these vehicles.
