why are they such gaping....you know. Read this thread.

http://forums.bimmerforums.com...t=g35

quote from douche: those guys at the nissan forums are SUCH pansys.

those g cars are the biggest piece of land yatch ive ever driven.

sure there pretty but they have cheap paint and thin windsheilds, there heavy, they dont corner that well, and my old m3 smokes the g35 in a straight away, let alone a corner.

i can imaging anyone taking a g thirty-whatever over a 335i. thats nuts.

imaging a race oil cooler, turbo retrofit and open exhaust on a 335i beast in the making. bmw has a winner. no one can top that for standard production cars (of course the new m3 will own all)

They are just angry because many reviews put the G37 over the 335i

i mean it's not like all bmw owners are like this...but it seems like about 90% of them are. cause you have to account for the a-holes that don't go on forums, like all the "my poop doesn't stink" oldies that drive em and the girls with the rich daddies.

i'm not trying to start a war or anything...i just don't get it. since when is bmw the most prestigious car ever? they might be the most balanced between performance, money, and handling...but certainly not the BEST. and they're losing they're title for the ultimate driving machine to infiniti.

and then they rave about the M cars...this only makes me want the nissan gtr to hurry up and hit the states. another thread on those forums talks about how all japanese cars in the states are just rebadged pieces...it just makes me sad that people have to think what they own is always the best because they don't want to be told they got jipped

My neighbor has had some nice BMW's and Porsches. He's also had a nice MR2...very fun!!!I killed a rabbit with it the first time I took it out. Damn thing just ran out in front of me and stopped! He now has a 64.5 mustang and several bikes (BMW, Ducati, Magna V65, Dirtbike...Yes, he's single) and looking to get another Porsche. Anyway, He loves to drive my cobra (his dad has one too) and our G's. He just grins when he gets behind the wheel and punches it. Oh, and he also used to race his BMW up north where he was a BMW/Porche mechanic.I guess he's the exception.

It's the money complex. All uppity douchebags have it. They figure since they paid so much more than the competition in the same class that they automatically have the best performance. When it turns out not to be so it is like a $40,000 kick in the balls.

Ask that toolbag how his 'M' fares against a Murcielago? Or a an F430? Or a 911 Turbo?Bottom line is, there's always a faster car.

Next to bottom line is that he's a moron. His complete mangling of the english language, spelling and otherwise, is laughable. I guess he's never heard of the 'shift' key?

Don't bother giving him a second thought. His educators obviously didn't.

Who really cares at this point. BMW's are nice cars altho they seem to be lacking in their "German Engineering" as they used to be. Infiniti was a far cry from being anything worthwhile to compare against until the last 4 years or so. If within a 4 year timeframe (G-series released in '03) Infiniti produces a car that is highly competative to their lineup. If BMW and Infiniti continue on their current paths, the Infiniti lineup will blow theirs apart in a few years.

I totally agree! I have only been a member for about 2 weeks and I brag all the time about what a great community I have found and how much I LOVE NICO Club! You guys are all so respectful and understanding to questions from noobs like myself. Two weeks ago I didn't know jack about cars and I have learned so much already. I was telling my brother yesterday that I realized I am a G enthusiast and of course an addict, as my screen name implies, and I love how I found a place with people that I can share that enthusiasm with. My brother love G's but is more of a 350Z kinda guy, at least still qualifies for NICO! lol

They know Infiniti is very close to the 335i and they don't like it. It is in their head. They think BMW is going to be #1 all the time. Oh well. Not all of them like that but some of them just crazy. Can't see the world realistically. They live their own world. As I said not all of them.

i'm not going to lie to you.. the G35 is like a the 1st Motorola Razor that came out. It's was nice, sleek and very pretty to look at. But, once you actually bought it and used it, you find out that it's doesn't really meets all the hype it got.

Paint sucks, really really bad... Clutch makes some clanking noise, engine is always ticking and louder then my parents old 1992 toyota camry.

Interior looks a little "blah" especially the material.

It's heavy and slow.

and they all wonder why customer service at BMW dealerships is on the decline...hell if thats the way my customers were, it'd give me less incentive to have a program like the Infiniti Total Ownership program

what it really is , BMW (European Luxury) is being surpassed by Inifiniti (Japanese), now people who spend 10 more grand on their car just to say that they own a beamer "Euro" bulldung cant take a cheaper "Japanese" brand.

Just to chime in, I'm currently a 2006 330i owner, but considering selling for a G35 Sport 6MT sedan. I'm a car fan in general and think both are great cars, with some differences. Some things are better in the BMW some things are better in the G.

I doubt we'd want to classify all BMW owners as a**holes, at the same time, we probably don't want to say that all nico club members are cool and considerate. You've got nice people and jerks in both.

I didn't think that thread was that bad - except for that one idiot. I owned several BMWs and for the money you can't beat the G35. I have driven the 335i and it is a great car but I just can see dropping 7-8k more for the little extra you get from it. Besides I thing the 3 series has become too bloated, and too heavy. I'm way more excited about the 1 series, but for now I'll drive my G35 and love it.

the bmw's are over priced for what they are... the g is the best bang for the buck by far....plus the new g37 is getting better ratings than the 335...so take that....even if i had a little more money to burn...i'd much rather get more car for less money then less car for more money....its the brand name.....oh it's a bmw..i paid up th a?! for it so it must be better than the G....i'd take the new g37 over the 335 any day of the week...the new 335 starts at like 37,500..and thats base...you load it up and god knows how much you're payn....new g37 starts around 34-35,000 stock...and the options don't cost that much...so much less than a loaded 335. the g just looks so much better too....

sigh sorry but i have to say why the g37 is better after reading some of the bmw forums comments about the g37.

The g37 has more hp than the 335i and its NA. The g37is rihgt now looking 5k cheaper msrp cheaper than the 335i. G37 looks better agreed on yes THEIR forums. BMW forums says that the g37 doesn't handle and corner well.... how would they know? the car hasn't even came out yet. they are just assuming the g37 will handle like the g35 but the g37 is acutally stiffing overall body structure.

so besides the assumption that the g37 will handle just like the g35 that forum has no credibility that their holy car the 335i is an "overall" better car.

A few BMW models are, arguably, superior to a G. They are also sustantially more expensive. The models that are similar in price don't perform as well. In addition, BMW has gotten weird with I-drive, SMG, run-flat tires and a gauge instead of a simple dipstick to check oil level. If you had paid that much for one of them, you'd be defensive, too.

i guess it's better to have a rivalry then not be in competition with bimmer at all. but it just seems like all of their forums are like this except for the m3forums...those guys are pretty cool.

i've been a member on the supraforums since april 2001 and those guys are always cool. and they have a lot of people there without supras and they don't berate others for having different cars.

it just seems to me that most bmw owners have stuck with them since the bmw 2002 and will never let go. I, like many of you are car enthusiasts and i love all cars. i still love bmws, chevrolets, toyotas, etc. they all have their own unique style and it makes for great competition. maybe someone should show some of the bmw owners what it means to be humble. must be compensating for a small...

i doubt anyone of them has EVER OWNED\Driven a G, My experiences with BMW sucks horribly ... , cant drive more than 9k miles without a visit to the dealership for a stupid reason (Finder \ wheel \ random problems ... ) my opinion , BMW is a money bomb ready to take out your pockets. .

Think about this a turbo \ SC kit for our G is around 6-10grand? , a SC for 3 series is up to 40 grand ....

those guys are just angry that Infiniti is stepping up their game ,

i dont know what the handling is like on a stock G , but a 3 Series is sooooo bumpy and not my style of driving , having to feel your way threw bumps and stuff ...

G > 3Series

i dont know, to be honest, the G isn't that much fun to drive.. i have more fun driving my integra on long trips..

i've driven a friends 5 series and man, that is once nice car.. smooth as silk on the road and has a little more "ump" in torque and throttle response..

the only reason i got the G was because of the Looks/design. the performance output on a 3.5 v6 gas guzzler is not very impressive. a stock honda s2k will smoke our cars with no problems.

BMW makes better car in general. the road noise in a BMW,, there is none.. ever drivin over a crack in your G? you can feel every little stupid crack on the road. in the BMW i've driven, you can't even tell. the materials used in a BMW, high quality leather, built strong an no stupid crackling noise.

the G on the other hand, cmon.. the Leather feels like vinyl, the plastic parts are crap, and theres a noise coming from all over the place, ticking from the engine, clanking from the clutch, more clicking from the sunroof everytime you drive up a speed bump.. the lists goes on.

I would sell my fully loaded 6mt G in a hearthbeat.. but everyone is lowballing my azzz.... Fully loaded, rear active steer, navi, premium, and only 7k miles..

the best offer was 28k.. wtf is that about. i paid a good 40k for this RARE black on black fully loaded G... 28k?

i guess people know exactly how much the G is worth.

LOL , i laughed soooooo hard while reading that , im actually thinking that we were talking about 3Series .. than 5 series comes out hmmmmBMW suspension are hard as rock . come on man i proved my theory yestarday , went to dealership and took out a new 3 Series ... I prefer to drive a G , come on ... a G35 COUPE .. rear seat feels like it has more room than the 4 DOOR 3 series ....
