I experienced the arrogance of a bmw owner on my way home today. I was going through a road work area on the highway when this 325ci decided to tailgate cause he didn't think the reduced speed applied to him, finally he pulls up next to me and tries to see me through my tint revs and then takes off. I wait till I am out of the work zone.(Double fine would suck) So I simply repay the favor and do exactly what he did, pull up next to him but he decides he wants to race and I won. Don't know much about beamers and more specifically the 325ci but I didn't expect to beat him.

the M3 is rumored to be coming with a V8 with 420

the GTR is a bi turbo 6 with 480

Their prices will be relatively close, BMW base price for an M will probably be close to 60k. However, as it works with BMW, that easily changes to 70k with a few options.

GTR is rumored to be priced around 60-70k. At that price, it makes it a borderline-corvette price bargain, with the performance you get. I can say now that the GTR will be able to hand the M5 and M6 *** to them on the track for 3/4 the price.

Looking at your list of cars to evaluate, why not consider the 535i instead of the 550i? It's a fair amount lighter and almost as quick. Car and Driver says it's the better one to go for...

Yes this G burns more gas , but eh i think this one would beat that integra OFF BOOST

......lol..... nothing to say after that...lol....the integra is faster but guess what its still a HONDA!!! all u can do on a honda is straight line. its fun for a while then it get boring. i had a 89 CRX fully built from the ground up with a B16b on a T3/T4 set up. was fast straight line but couldn't turn for Shi+ at 100 or so MPH. and yea 335i are a big waste of money a rotor with the pads with the stupid little sensor is like $300 only form BMW thenselves.

lol , we took a trip to the Beemer dealership to "try" out some M classes ... the bottum line is.... NOT STARTING another WAR .....

Those things are ANNOYING!!! .... Tried pressing the volume up button and bam ... it switches stations , oh well .. after you press that M button on the steering wheel .. the NAV shuts the hell up and lets you enjoy 500-510 HP .

Hondas are fast ... Acura NSX is an example. ive seen Honda Civic Dragsters doing 7 second runs ,

By the way , the G now has almost 574 Hp , ran low boost - now we have Low compression pistons allowing 16-18 PSI ...

They didnt have any on the lot at the time, after driving the 335i Im interested to see the same engine in a 5 series.

bottom line is, people buy BMW's as status symbols, pay out the nose for it, then get upset because it isn't as fast as a cheaper car. Same thing happens with the Corvette Z06 all the time. The corvette can take many exotics, imports, and even a couple super cars....and it just pisses people off when they paid 4 times as much for something slower than an american car.

As for the integra? I wouldn't know much about them, I only see them in my rearview mirror

man the only thing i dont get is why the hell are 97 m3 and koukis the same price like wtf. dont get me wrong i love koukis a lot wanna get one real bad but when i can get a m3 for the same price in most cases and honestly it is a much better performing car in stock form why wouldn't i. lol this is mostly just me bitching cause im a broke college student but man people want a lot for their koukis lol
