Heres a way to make this work...Basically you should have everything installed that you can, The way im doing it is.. I have all my gauges installed, my S-AFC installed and setup for KAT Fuel Curves, I have my Walbro Pump in and I have my 370 CC's in, My Tapped Oil Pan with the line running up but its plugged, Basically all i have to do is put my manifold and turbo on plug up my oil lines and Boost gauge/vacuum lines and take it to the muffler shop to have the piping made. I think im gonna be running the turbo on free air until i get there, But i just thought of something... How would i get my O2 Sensor to work correctly ? Hmmm Something to think about

How does this sound guys ?The night b4 im gonna be putting some Liquid Wrench on and im hoping the whole install only takes me about 3 hours max.Im not hiding anything, I just want this **** to all work out..

A friend of mine turboed his KA24E in one day. He was an Air Force mechanic and lived in Japan for 7 years. A couple friends and I helped for a couple hours. He did it on a budget of $150, the only thing that cost money was the FMU. He also made his own exhaust manifold. It is roughly put together too. He also got the Subaru IHI turbo for free. I know too small of turbo. Here are the pics. He is on the board under The "B" Ride. Nick

You can install the oilpan ahead of time and just make sure to put a good fitting on the bung to keep it sealed for a few weeks or whatnot. If your using an afc you can install the injectors ahead of time too.

I think you have to look at why your parents can't fin dout. There's a pretty short period of time between getting your license and not being owned by your parents. So, unless they own the car, they shouldnt be able to tell you if you can turbo it or not. And if its their car, you're a tool for trying to turbo it behind their backs b/c something will probably go wrong eventually and then you've screwed your OWN PARENTS over

heres my 2 cents, who cares what your parents think, it's your car and your money. Do what makes you happy and what interests you, and not what your parents like.

sorry, i'm rebellious. d**n the man.

If I purchased a turbo kit, pre-modified another oil pan to swap in, and I had all the various tools to do the install, do you think its possible to turbo it, and get it running in one day? I need it done in one day because I have no other daily drivers, and my parents can't find out I turbo'd my car.
I didn't do mine in a day, but I did it in 2 days with minimal help. If you have ALL the parts (and I mean ALL - nuts, wires, tie wraps, etc) and have a pre-programmed ECU, you can do it in a day.
