LMAO! Oh snap! I thought I was the only one who noticed Briana's spelling errors. Ironically, he's one of the head cheerleaders for proper spelling and punctuation.

Now.

I can't deny Tech's wealth of knowledge, (nor his abundance of bookmarked links) but I would like to say that I've noticed a lack of social graces. I remember my first run in with him about my lack of an owner's manual.

Leave it to this guy to refer to his wife as a well-oiled machine. Stepford wife or figment of imagination? [/QUOTE]

Seems to me that both Maxnix and Q45tech have helped you quite a bit with your car problems and provided a crash course of information that would have taken you years to figure out on your own since you first joined the forum, and continue to do so without asking anything in return. Do you really think it is a wise move to continually personally bash those who have assisted you?

You may find Brian cut and dry, or even off- putting, but honestly I have never seen a single post where he personally attacks you, yet you love to piggyback on any crumb and relish in the opportunity to poke fun at him, even going as far as using a negative quote aimed at him in your signature line that is displayed in every post you make. That my friend, make you a jack-***.

Man this thread is intense... I dont blame you if you guys dont really care what I have to say since I have been lacking in activity recently..

I have had enough. In a few weeks im going to be back to my normal activity.

There has been more irrelevant discussion here in the past month then probably the rest of the year combined. Dont quote me on that, but you understand my point... I definitely reserve the right to delete any posts not pertaining to Q45. If you want to bash on each other, go do it in general chat, or better yet on another forum.

Heres where I want to get the forum. I want to come in, see a thread and go right to all relevant information that I need to see, to either get helped on a problem or to help someone else. Right now you have to sift through posts of people nagging at each other like sorority chicks (minus the scenery part) in order to get anywhere...

Nico has something against me my threads and some posts get the thread locked or i get banned lol over here things are smooth sailing since Haitian_King and i get along i guess and well Q45tech is maxnix cup of tea thats why maxnix quotes him so much because he respects the man! Searching doesn’t work well all the time so i guess if someone could explain to the people who are lost in the Q world to figure something out wouldn’t hurt i dont think maxnix searched when he was a rookie because things were still forming than... Please dont ruin the whole question asking sequence maxnix. Do if for baby Jesus lol .

Yeah. It seems to me that you're being economical with the truth here chum.

I spend (haven't been able to in recent weeks) hours on the board just reading. I have the .pdf FSM as well as my physical 90-93 one usually in arm's reach. If you want to say that I "owe" the well-being of my Q to them, you must be going crazy.

Perhaps indirectly, they've "helped" by aggravating me to the point that I say "**** it" and figure it out myself. If that's the sort of "aid" that I'm supposed to kiss *** for, well, they can very well eat their advice. And since 98% of everything Brian says is regurgitated "Tech", he actually doesn't really count then. Points for originality.

Goody's helped me out more times then I can count and what's best is that he's never been a jerk about it. Wes, Shane, Andy, oldmako, and many others have actually "helped" (You know, when you render assistance or even a kind word, as opposed to derision)

You've never seen a post where good old Briana attacks me? Pull your head out of your bum and wipe the doo-doo from your eyes pal.

Apparently you're under the impression that I go around and randomly select people to be my nemesis. Don't fool yourself. You aren't that important.

It’s time for everyone to take his spare tire and go home. This thread has provided some venting space for some. Maybe even a pressure release. It’s time to set it on fire, push it out in the steam, and give it a proper Viking funeral it deserves.

Being honest with ourselves, we all have rubbed somebody the wrong way. And here’s the big thing, we didn’t even realize we had did it. At time I felt ideas close to being compared to the gospel were coming out of my lips, only to find out I was way off base and even been wrong (imagine that).

We all have something to contribute, either through knowledge, encouragement, or even some constructive criticism. I think the wisdom and maturity comes into play when knowing the limit. When to hold them and when to fold them.

My concern comes in saying something that you can’t take back. …Like in 91……..Damn…..how was I to know it was suppose to have a slimming effect………..my wife can show an elephant some memory tricks

Well that my two bits……..

I'm not even going to explain the massive errors of your posts.

Your lack of a suitable comeback speaks volumes about you and your lack of creativity.

You lose.

I agree with several of the points made. Yes, it's not a cheap car to maintain. But get off your high horse and realize that NOTHING 15 years old with high mileage is going to run flawlessly, and nothing is really cheap to maintain nowadays. Seems to me that the "50K" argument is just self-aggrandizement. 50K or not, the car is not worth much today and t'ain't no collectible so I don't see why people need to get all huffy about it.

Second, I still have yet to understand this forum's constant "use the search" crap. I've been to plenty of forums and this one is the worst for that. I've used the search plenty of times and more often than not I just get useless crap or worst a bunch of valid posts where you, surprise surprise, give no feedback and tell someone to piss off and do a search. The tech section is useful for most common things, but I'll be damned if it covers everything.

Take a relatively simple question and do a general search on it. Tell me how many pages and posts you have to sift through to get anything resembling a clear answer; most of the time you end up with vagueties and no photos to illustrate an operation. Maybe it would be nice if you posted a link to an article or a thread that would be useful.

I like to recommend it to members unfamiliar with the search engine. Typing your query into Google will usually direct you to the appropriate NICO page and thread.

I admit the search function takes some getting used to. I've figured it out. It took a while to get it down pat though.

You make great points. But about the car not being a collectible or being valuable, it will be (I hope.)

At the end of the day, I justify everything because I love the car. When it's running great, it makes me happy. I'm selfish when it comes to my ego and feelings. Maybe it's the same for others, or maybe they have their own reasons.

Alright, finally, ive had enough b1tching for this thread... Hopefully enough of you realize that its not arms or legs we're talking about, its Q45s that are worth NOTHING in this market today..

That being said, that doesnt mean they arent worth SOMETHING to those who can appreciate them. All I am saying is that for those who appreciate them, fine we will help them.. Else, those who bought them because they were a cheap car, will be treated like they bought them as a cheap car...

I think this is a good ending to this thread.. Hopefully you see the same way, otherwise email me or one of the other admins, because I hope you took you chance to get this BS out of your system, because it will be no more... I will get kicked off this forum trying to make it better before I let it destroy itself, like it is now.

The moral of this story is, if you cant play nice dont play at all. I dont care, and most everyone else doesnt care how much you know about Q45s. if you dont have anything to add to the conversation, dont add it.
