As some people here know, I'm selling my car. I found a buyer and now is my last chance to keep my 240 and not move on. I'm seriously considering keeping it, but it all depends on a few things. What I have noticed though, is theres 1 car I keep looking at that always makes me want to keep the ol' 97 240 for myself, and thats this car;

id like to talk to this guy and ask him about where he got his kit, what he paid, how long the wait was. all sorts of **** like that, including where he got his wheels, etc. This car inspires me to not move on, and I'd seriously like to talk to him. I've been trying to find info on him, but havent gotten anywhere. If anyone knows this guy, let me know. If you know his aim or something, let me know, or give him mine (stephnic240) or my email ([email protected]) etc. Thanks to anyone who can help out. Feel free to reply even if you dont know, just to point out how simply bad *** his car looks, cuz I'm with ya.

i know what kit it is, it says right in the mods list. i just wanted to talk to him about how the kit is during daily driving (is it too low? did it take forever to receive? etc) things like that. where he got the wheels, etc.

Well, with any kit, you are more likely to be scraping...and that bumper looks a little lower than the average aftermarket bumper, and he only has eibach pro-kits...

I said people could reply off topic (as in; not being helpful to my question) if they wanted to throw in positive comments about the kit, etc. I've been wanting the c-west kit but hadnt seen any good pics of it on a street driven car, etc. I'm not copying anyone.

I may have sounded more critical than I intended...but I gave a logical suggestion, IMO. If he just wants a car that looks good, he can get something else that has a larger and cheaper aftermarket...

your an idiot because you replied with advice i didnt ask for. you also assume (that i want to sell my car, and that a body kit is the only thing that makes me want to keep it) sh*t that you know nothing about. from now on, try replying to things with something constructive. First off, this is an opinion forum, if you cant take someone elses criticism, then dont post. Dont get flustered when someone says something you dont like.
I would like to point out a few things. While WongFeiHung may have rubed you the wrong way, you did give me the impression that you were going to sell your car unless you could make it look better..... and the quote to back that up....
Sounds like here you want your car to look like his, you want his wheels, and his body kit, after that you will want the suspension kit he has to get the same ride height, probably the same CF hood, paint job etc....
While this is fine for you if thats the route you want to go, it rubbs some of us the wrong way. Me for example, I dont want a car I own to look like anything anybody else has owned (if I had the $ to do body work that is... which I dont), and besides that I would probably not do any body work until I was satisfied with the engine power.
Now I dont know what you have done to your engine, and people have different preferences, and I respect that. But, one of the things that bugs me is trying to imitate, and that sounds distinctly rice.... Now you are probably not a ricer (hope not anyway), you just came across this way
As far as keeping the car vs. selling it.... If you like the stock lines of the 240 and want to enhance them, keep the car. If you think the 240 is ugly, and the only way you would be caught drivin it around would be to add this body kit.... sell it and get something you like better. Seriously, there is no reason to drive around in a car you think is ugly. I think this is the only point WongFeiHung was trying to make... so dont Flame......

Well wiwalsh, after reading that incredibly long reply of crap, your just as wrong as that wangchang guy. first off, i read that quote of me 3-4 times and not once did i see anything that says "i want to copy his ***", not at ANY point did i say ANYTHING like that in that quote. His car happens to be the first truely nice looking 240 ive seen in a hwile. Like I said earlier, Ive wanted the c-west kit for a while (you would have seen that if you read the whole thread, but you obviously didnt) now and thats the first US bound car ive seen with it, and the only nice picture of the kit ive seen. I'm not rice and I never said anything about copying anyone. The main reason i wanted to ask about his wheels is for offset purposes, and to see if the brand he uses makes those in grey. I've seen the wheels on a few other cars, but I like them because theyre seldom seen, not played out like the 5Zigen typhoons. Your doing the same thing as wangchang, replying with assumptions.
