It's really not taking that long...setbacks and problems are just the way of the car modification world.

Yeah, but when you're told the manifold would ship two weeks after group buy is finished, you'd expect it to arrive a week later at the latest. It's almost 4 weeks since the group buy ended and NO WORD from the man himself.

The least he can do is update us on the status of the manifold especially when people have called in and asked him to do it. Takes less than 5 minutes to post, and it goes a long ways towards business / customer relations.

that it does, and I'm kinda dissapointed that he hasnt. I even specifically asked him to post here, so I cant understand why he hasnt at all.

I can understand having setbacks, but he needs to let people know without forcing us to each call him and ask what the hell is up. We generated a *LOT* of business for him, you'd think he'd treat that respect and trust just a little bit better.

Still, dont feel like you're going to get screwed over or anything, we're all definetly still getting what we paid for - it's just taking longer than we expected.

Again guys, I'm REALLY sorry for the wait. If I had known it was going to be this long I wouldnt have told you all 2 weeks (even though thats what I was told as well..). If I hear anything I'll update you all right away.

Not your fault, I don't blame you. I don't mind the wait, but a status report from time to time wouldn't be asking too much in my opinion.

does anyone have any experience with them? im only wanting to run like 7-12psi max, so i mean, if someone had problems with them under heavy boost, that shouldnt matter for me. lmk, thanks

For another 50 bucks you can get the ETD manifold.

I'll sell you mine if it doesn't arrive within the next month! :rolleyes

that had better not be true. I'm calling tomorrow for sure- if thats the case then we're definetly going to have problems.

nobody knows anything about the SSautochrome brand manifolds? as i stated before, im only wanting to run 7-12psi max, so people having problems under high boost shouldnt be compared to me... or should they?

ssautochrome (or OBX, which seems to be the same thing) has a very bad reputation around here. Do a search on both here and Fresh Alloy and you will find numerous pictures and stories of how they've heated and cracked, or even just fell apart (in the case of movingviolation's). They're cheap for a reason.

Anyone call ETD to see what's the status? Please update everyone.

I'm so close to filing a complaint with my credit card company and the greddy kit is looking like a viable option now.

bruinbear:please dont do that just yet. give jim till next week, and if he STILL cant come though, then feel free to act.

Again, I'm really sorry to everyone who is waiting on this... Jim's story till now seems to be that it's "taking longer than he expected." He's going to have to do a little bit better than that, with this many people (and $$!) waiting on him.

Rest assured I will be calling him on Monday to make SURE he's coming through with all this. After next week I will be considering taking action myself as well.

Thanks to everyone for being so patient.
