Just curious as to what the reasonable top end limit on these trucks are. I see tons for sale with 100k-200k miles.

I just sold my M45 so I'm probably going to double the mileage I put on my QX4 each year. It's an '01 and as of right now, it's got 54k miles. Seems like it's just gotten broken in. (With the exception of the rusted out running board supports. Something tells me the truck will disintegrate into rust dust before the engine stops running.

186,000 miles on my '01, about a third to half of it towing my boat.

Last time I got it smogged, the smog guy said he'd done a '97ish with 225,000miles the other day.

My first two Pathfinders ('87 and '95) got traded at about 130,000 miles.

My 01 is currently at 197,460 miles approximately 317,781 kilometers. Still runs as good as new, well something like that.

Wow that is awesome! I bought mine new in 99, it's a 00 model with the anemic 3.3L.

I currently just hit 60k. Has anyone had any major problems? What should I expect? I've used mobil 1 since the 2nd oil change.

Good to know these beasts can last!

My '03 just broke the 100k mark... 163,000 km / 101k miles.

There's no way I'm selling this beast, even if I get a new vehicle. I'd probably cry a bit in pride if this guy broke 500,000 km... though at my pace of 25,000km/yr that'd take me 13 more years. I better get driving.

I gotta say I'm jealous of all of you who have "low" miles on your R50's.

I drive everywhere I go, but I did my best to buy a house that minimized how much travel I had to do and this is what happens. 25,000km/yr ( Though if my insurance company asks, it's more like 15,000. ). Home->Office->Home, Home->Parents Home->Home, and Home->Hockey->Home, and a few 1000-km camping trips a year. That's the majority of what my Pathy does. I have no idea how some of you guys rack the miles up.

The only crappy thing about Pathys is the rust. I have no doubt the engine and transmission will live forever, it's the body that's going to go down the crapper. Guess something in a vehicle has to die first...

I'm interested in buying a Qx4, but they're rare here. All the low miles models are RWD, so I'm planning to buy the Qx4 2001, with 106,000 miles, and the suspension issues, as the price is SO low, I don't mind spending that mount on the new suspension parts.

So I guess after 100,000 miles, the suspension DOES give issues yeah? I currently drive 60kms a day (Earlier it was 120), so I guess I'll reach the 200,000 miles mark soon.

My 2001 QX4 has just passed the 94000 mi. mark and I did have to replace the sway bar links but the motor and trans are strong as ever! Just schooled a lad this morning who thought he was going to pass me on the inside! LOL

About 80,000 miles. Purchased new. Crank Pulley/Harmonic Balancer just went out. Battery replaced. A/C Condenser replaced due to a rock. Rear exhaust pipe rusted thru. Other maintenace items/brakes/tires or mods. For a 10 year old vehicle--In my book, thats extremely solid. Been garaged kept most of its life, no rust except on side step bars. Paint is in excellent condition. Had a newer Isuzu Axiom for about 5 years--sold it & kept the older Pathfinder. Was a no-brainer to me.

So I was waiting for the parts now I got them in I just have to find the time to do it at work. Other than that I have had no problems with it at all.
