The engines in the old probes is a Mazda engine, I have one in my Mazda truck. Ford began to acqire Mazda in the early 90's, and it became official in 93 I believe.
But regardless... the probe is mostly a Mazda car... with electrical work by Mitsubishi!!!!

my bad. figured since my buddies burst into flames after 2 weeks, it HAD to be a ford.
my car is a HB. It has about 130,000 miles on it. it has a sunroof power everything(i know extra weight) bodykit (not a ricey one though) chrome wheels (which im looking to trade for some black or gunmetan wheels) and a killer sound system. My truck is a '90 b2600i 4X4. You'll have to forgive my memory, as it has been over 8 years since I built up this truck, but I believe there was a conversion kit for the 13B made by the same company that made the conversion for the 5.0 into the MX-5 (Miata).
