It's always that song that plays over and over again on the radio. And whenever I call a girl it's either some old country bithc or some sappy love song.

No ringback tones, no Internet, no text messages. My phone is for calling people.

If I could I would cancel my voicemail as well, but I need that for work.

My cousin has that Kate Perry song, "I kissed a girl", on his work cell phone. Yeah, I said his, as in he's a dude.

i know right! my mom has this freakin classical symphony music on hers. lol, everytime i call her i have to look around me like if someone hears that crap they're either gonna think that i'm an easy money target or i was raised by uptight Highland Park yuppies. ... and i'm thinking, Jesus, i grew up in a damn trailer and listen to hard rock, and i've got fkrs lookin at me like i'm a poser.

I'm not talking about having them yourself, I'm talking about when you call people that have them.

I hate those things. When I make a phone call I expect to hear the usual "ring" sound.

word. but I do have 200 texts for the people who seem to think they should text me anyway. That, and loud bars.

U seem like a very social person.

I dont like the fact that before the actual song plays ther is a machine recording telling you to hold on and listen to the music while your party is being reached. Why cant i just hear the fvken song. And some ppl have stupid a$$ emo rigback tones. However one of my friends has "santeria" by sublime. I love that song and deff enjoy calling him.

Once I thought I called the wrong number and got put on hold by some customer service guys.

Then my friend picked up, and I found him annoying that day.

Yes, I hate them as well. I hate them a lot. I hate them in a box and on some rocks and in a plane.

Most of my outgoing phone calls are done at work (for work). I get so sick of listening to peoples' horrible ideas of what is good music. The worst part is that only MTV pop garbage is available as ringbacks anyway. There needs to be a button you can press to revert to a real ring. When I have to sit through music I despise it puts a MASSIVE damper on my ability to be professional.

That is Verizon's default ringback, like if you have the service but havent picked your own song. When omeone has a ringback tone you cant tell if they're on the other line...

Man I sound like a creeper when I re-read that... like Nala or something...

Are you saying that when you call a verizon customer that you aren't just hearing normal rings! No one has busted me out for having a ringback tone yet, god I hope it just rings as it should.

No. I am saying that if you subscribe to the Verizon's ringback feature and have not yet picked your own song or you have that service and have deleted your ringback tone without canceling the ringback feature you will have that terrible classical music. Make sense?

hey, i like that feature, it gives me a reason to yell at someone for proving that the person on the other line is more important to them than i am.

since we're on the subject, do any of you remember when people would record their voicemail message with a song in the beginning that faded out as they pulled the mic away from the radio so they could actually tell you they missed your call? ahhh, high school. good times.
