I eat the ends. I actually prefer them. I try to make sure I get to the bread first so I can make a sandwich with both the ends. I love it.

SO do you just not eat the end bits of the loaf, or do you cut off all the crust too? LMFAO That is hilarious to see anyone over 2 years old do that crap.

Edit: the crust bit, not the ends. The ends I can almots see, but the crust is what makes it a solid food to eat....

I eat the crust. But the bread ends usually go to the trash right when I buy the loaf.

I usually don't reply to such threads, I create them...but on this one I have to speak out. I'm from Louisiana and no matter North or South Louisiana it's still the country. We were taught waste not, want not. Clean your plate, starving children in Ethiopia blah, blah, blah.

This weekend I opened up my Yahoo and I get this startling image of a child that is malnourished. My heart dropped. Let this be a lesson. The next time you go to throw that end piece of bread away...remember that there are people not as fortunate as you on the other side of the world. Help feed them...then you can say your an American. Afterall, isn't that what we do? Help the less fortunate countries in the world.

LOL! I just dont eat it. When dealing with a loaf of bread, I can honestly say that Ive NEVER put ANY ends in my mouth. I dont even know what it tastes like. The only way that I couldve possibly eaten the end of a loaf of bread, is at age 4 and under since I dont remember too much that far back. And if I did eat it some probably forced me to.

I wont throw them away, I just avoid them and hope someone else likes them more than I do. They are just to dry for me. Waste not...

I eat the bread ends. You don't touch my bread ends, or I beat you with them. Which is more painful than it sounds.

Sure those kids in Ethiopia may be hungry... but I'm a compassionate man, that's why the bread ends go to the trash can....

Alright I'm starting a "Breadends killaz" team who's with me?

Props to Jayson for finding jdmfreak's baby picture on the Web.

j/k - Waste not, want not indeed. Down in L.A. where I'm from (lower Alabama for you city folk) you ate what was put on your plate.

Hell, I'll eat anything - I have a dog stomach.
