So... I took the 240 for a spin, and noticed a good amount of white smoke coming out the exhaust. I did put half a can of seafoam in the gas, and the other in the crank case. will seafoam in the gas tank still cause white exhaust? I know it does when you clean the intake. I hope so cause I'd be pissed if it was water. It doesn't smell of antifreeze. actuall, there is no antifreeze in the system right now, just water an cooling system cleaner. this is also a new HG, valve seals, port job, valve job, and some new gaskets. So I pray it is not water. I may just drive the car in a river if it is.

I've never sea foamed before but from what I've read that smoke is normal and you're supposed to change the oil after a few miles.

It's still getting burned up, so I dont see why it wouldn't smoke a little.

Yea I would bet its a combination of sea foam and condensation

do not drive it long with it in the crankcase. it will break the oil down.

yeah it sat without the head in the garage for a couple weeks, so I just wanted to get any gunk out. I'm gonna flush it tomarrow with new oil and filter, run it for about a week, and it should be good.
