stopped by the wheel warehouse in anaheim and narrowed my selection down to two auto couture wheels . just wanted to get others opinions on the wheels. (keep in mind I have asanti whels in one of the pics that look similar to the auto couture latives in one of the other pics)

Obviously you're going for looks over performance, so with that said (and NO ONE else needs to say it), I'd go with the ones sitting by the front wheel. If they aren't the same in all 3 pics, then I'll say the first one.

What's the weight of those wheels? If you don't know, then you're not taking wheel weight (additional rotating mass) into account, this bias to looks over performance. Nothing worng with it.

bantoine2,

I prefer the look of the first pics. It looks more classy. But it's your choice and money to spend. I'll be shopping for a 20" rims too soon.

Oh, definitely the laxatives!

They are much smoother.

Do they come in concrete?

I'm sure they do, but only for those that can afford them

The ones on the front give it a Mercedees like look. The rears give it an Audi like look.

I prefer the rears, but would perfer the fronts, when cleaning and polishing time comes around.

What is that rear wheel in the first picture? That thing is SEXY!

First pic is my favorite. A big body car needs a big body wheel.

I've been in the same situations for years, not being able to choose which wheels thats why I still have my pie pans, but the rear grabs more attention for me...

They are the Asanti AF 128 wheels (chrome). Every BMW (745) here in southern cal seems to have them. The other wheels are the Auto Couture Latives that look very similar but slightly have a fuller spoke look and are polished with chrome lip. If I do get the Latives I think I will get all chrome like the Asanti wheels which seems to fit the color of the car when looking at it in person

Definitely get the Auto Coutures. I know exactly what you mean about the Asanti's, - on every 7 series in town, lol. They're still sweeeet wheels, but they're just too common.

Yep, those are the ones I like. The fronts look to cumbersome and heavy.

Weight is 34lbs for both style of wheels (latives and magnifique's) vs 45-55 pounds of 1pc wheels. So the wheels are defintely the best of both worlds with them being a great strong quality wheel and luxurious.

Out the door are $5595 for 22x8.5 with wheels and tires.

I might be in the minority on this, but I like the Ashantis. Reminds me of M3 wheels...

That's why everyone has an opinion which is good but I dont like them myself... I see all day long which is probably why I'm tired of them. Looking at both in person I see subtle differences in the autocoture wheels that make them look much better.

I'm liking the Latives with the satin(?) finish. The chrome are a little to "pimp" or "bling, bling" for me.

I don't really care for the ones shown on the front.

Sorry.. but the "pimp and bling bling" words are just played out LOL .. But I here you . The finish is actually "high polished" with a chrome lip that almost makes the wheels like white. Actually the ALL CHROME looks better in person on that car vs the polished look.
